i myself have always fancied more peacock-style phoenixes, with fancy feathers, eagle Rocs, and vulture thunderbirds

Me too, except the thunderbird, which I imagine as a seahawk, because of Pacific NW thunderbird stories.

now i don't know if i want my Dragon Dance to be a fight or a courtship...

maybe a story associated with it, of two nemesis dragons, constantly battling, but gradually realize the emptiness they feel when outside of the other's presence, and hate becomes love...

Hubby had a pair of npcs like that, except they were a unicorn and a nightmare. They battled for a long time, but eventually forgot why they fought, found that they loved each other for their strength and dedication. They had a half unicorn half nightmare, who gave our (awed) PCs a bit of his horn.

You didn't hear this from me, but my hubby is a romantic

Was that when you took down your portfolio?

I have been blaming it on BaM!'s policies - I don't think you ever mentioned being attacked online, at least not to me. ::(:

And of course you are a practicing witch, how else will you ever make it to Carnegie Hall?

I know the figures - I think. Sandra Garrity was the sculptor - and they remain some of my favorite Reaper minis of all time.

(I swear, the one on the left is casting Summon Cat Food, for the cat with its paw on her foot....)

(The one on the right is my favorite miniature for a priestess, ever.)

I don't know if they will ever be released (or have been released) in Bones - but they are pretty reasonably priced in metal, anyway. About $9 or so, for three figures.

And, I think the word you were looking for was Priestesses? Cleric became Clark, became Clerk, and is mostly non-gendered-ish, these days, I think?

The Auld Grump

Those are the figures! That price seems really low.

Are those actually available as 3-packs? I found the individual figures, but no bundles.

Did we really gain nearly $20k overnight? I don't think we've had an overnight that successful since the first couple days, astounding!

I was going to comment that it looked the momentum from yesterday was continuing, but I thought maybe I was just imagining it!

How do those older Reaper Minis hold up with the new ones in terms of scale creep btw?

And no worries, I hadn't even noticed, the Reaper pages takes ages to load all the pictures for me ^^

Maybe someone else has some insight into that one. I have only been painting/playing with minis for 2 1/2 years and I buy whatever tickles my fancy and also put it on the table. My Reaper stuff is larger than my Hasslefree but I don't think I have paid much attention to which of my Reaper sculpts are old vs. new. Like I said, I browse and add it to my cart. Doing a search just now for Sandra Garrity added some minis to my cart. Sigh. ::o:

Well, I like quite a few of them. I do have a lot of PC type minis to paint right now, but given my obsession with female casters I might need more one day. And I have a new player who might play some sort of female elf wizard, and somehow my players never pick the minis I already have in stock.
