Can you throw up a pic of your storage system? I've been fiddling about with some different ideas, would love some input.

Do you use sheet magnets or something to hold them in place?

If you don't want to rebase you can always use the bases to make some terrain. Stack and glue them in certain ways to create rock formations.

Ok, here are some photos of my storage.  I use magnetic sheeting.  It's the stuff they make magnetic car signs from.  I glue the figures (with integral bases left intact) on to fender washers which come in stand inch, and fraction of an inch sizes.

And I too use my plastic Reaper bases for all kinds of terrain projects.

With the bases I'm still just hoping the dance with death dragons can find their way onto bases in some form for table play. But if the sculpts have the legs connected no hope for that sadly.

You should be able bel to carve them off whatever rock formation they're attached to.  It's one of the beautiful things about working with Bones.  Or, you can slice the top of the rock formation off that has there feet molded on, and just use that for your base.

I'm not going to be ungrateful for more stuff, but how many of you guys re-base your Bones? The integral bases have never left me wanting more. I know some of the arguments in favor of re-basing, but I still don't see the appeal.

I've started re-basing most of my "people" minis.  Nothing crazy, but I build up the hollow side of the 1" base I've got so many of and putty around the integral base.  It really helps a lot with stability on the table.  Plus I'm mostly using Bones to practice my painting and basing techniques while building up a collection of various character classes.  It's been handy when gaming to have a growing variety of guys I can throw on the table as the situation demands.

Sandra Garrity's sculpts are fantastic. I don't think their style is popular right now, so they might not make it into bones, but they're still my favorites.

Quite a shame. Her sculpts are lovely. At minimum, half the figures I used when I started painting were by her. I'd love to see them make a return.

Interesting. I'll have to play with that when I get more of my bones painted up. I like that the storage is modifiable, you can put any of yours that are on the washers in there in any order. For now I've just been using the cases that came with the previous kickstarters myself... but I can see this being much more usable in the future.

Bones minis are super lightweight, especially the human sized and smaller ones. I base a lot of the smaller ones on fender washers to give them just a little heft.

Occasionally one will have balance issues and I'll base it for that, again on a fender washer.

Oh, yes, I was speaking from memory when I said you could cut them.  I forgot they were joined at claws and tail.  That could be real tricky... but not impossible...

I base mine on metal washers to make use of magnetic storage and to provide stability and weight on uneven gaming surfaces.

I base mine on fender washers as well, mostly to give them weight since they are so light. I am also planning on taking a 1 inch and 2 inch base from  KS 3 core set to my local home depot and try and find washers that will fit inside the hollow bottom so I can get a nice base AND the weight:)

OH and in response to Ron:

ooohhh 2 inch bases, so shiny!!!!!!!

(was that surprised enough!)

Snake or no snake?  I'm not too into the realistic animal sculpts but this cobra is pretty sweet!  And at only $15?  That might be too good to pass up.

Maybe I will not add it to my pledge now and will see if one of the months leading up to the PM closing if I have an extra $15 to throw in there for it.

Funny thing about KS is that I keep thinking (and commenting) that I'm not too into this or that but somehow my pledge keeps going up and up!
