There's also a more simply dressed pirate mousling in the (metal) mousling boxed set. He's got an eye patch, peg leg, bandanna and cutlass.

I have used mine for two very different non-player characters.

 

One is typically closer in appearance to a Victorian clerk than a demon... until he isn't. (Don't tick him off.)

 

The other is a character for a supers game - a hero named Balrog.

 

Balrog operates in the UK - doing good deeds, and rescuing kittens out of trees.

 

In reality he has two souls - one is a young boy that was dying from cancer - and was offered a 'Deal' to survive.

 

The other is indeed a demon from Hell, that has a secret agenda to... do good deeds, and rescue kittens out of trees.

 

He wants out of Hell, and the best way to stay off Hell and Heaven's radar is to, well, play nice with others.

 

And, his plan is working - in part because Lucifer has also taken a leave from Hell - and both Heaven and Hell are too busy looking for Lucifer to waste time on a demon that is doing good deeds, and rescuing kittens out of trees. He will, in the long run, get back into Heaven's good graces, and will be offered a second Choice.

 

(Lucifer, for what it is worth, has just plain quit the game. Heaven? Hell? They can both go hang. He is working as a PI in Boston. (Because it's funny, that's why.))

 

Pretty sure what they mean by 'fit on a 2" base' is just that the original isn't a great fit on a 2" round base.

our games never reach super-extremely high levels of character level, so we never have them face off against the biggest and baddest CR monsters. 

That said, my husband will use small demons, like the ones in the core. We have 2 large demons in bones already, and we've yet ot use them

 

so the demons aren't for us, because we run low-level games starting at lvl 1, with heavy roleplay and story and very slow actual leveling. They never reach the level required to face giant monsters, because by then we usually have to move away and find a new group

I know how that feels. My current Pathfinder game started at level 1, with lots of investigation and roleplay. We've only just cracked 8 after about 2 years of fortnightly play (with several missed sessions). Also, yay for bones providing a bunch of Pathfinder iconic minis. I've used every single pathfinder goblin that has shown up in Bones.

Yes I have the platy/familiars pack there but I need a dire sized one to show off its ferociousness, a dire komodo would be handy as well.  and yes we need a drop bear in attack position
