  They are fine models, I agree, and I'm also hoping for them.  I'm not too worried about it, though, given Reaper's track record in predicting how things will end up.

I apologize again, but I won't be able to catch up on the KS comment summaries for the past several days like I'd planned. I'm currently out of town for the funeral of a family member, and I very much doubt I'll have the time. And shortly after that, I'll be out of town for PAX Prime. 

 

@Grayfax has been kind enough to offer to do some in my stead, but he's got an actual job (unlike myself) so I don't know how much free time he'll have. He'll do what he can when he can. 

 

I don't want to kill the mood, just wanted to explain why I won't be around much for the rest of the KS. Please, continue talking about the awesome fun Bones things you're excited about and your plans for them. :)

With the typical spike in the last couple of days of the previous Bones kickstarters, I don't doubt we'll see everything shown or previewed reached.

i expect we'll reach a lot of things yet to be revealed too.

Yes, almost certainly.  Look at the Kicktrak graphs for the previous campaigns - they accelerate -hard- in the last 48 hours.  Assuming the trends continue and we build backers at this rate going forward, we should hit $3,234,587 pretty easily.

 

This is not Reaper's first bordello.  They'll use things like Dance or Date & Blacksting to drive that 48 hour madness to the extreme.

Check the funding graphs of all the previous bones kickstarters. All kickstarter camaigns have a huge surge in the last 48 hours, as KS sends a reminder email to people who have starred the project, and people who pledged for a lower amount and ignored most of the updates (this demographic constitues the majority of backers) finally check back in and finalize their pledges higher.

Well I'll take your guy's word for it.  Just seems like a lot of money and bring my first KS I wasn't sure if we could do it.  But I'll keep the faith!

Quick thought are the people of Reaper going to be safely out of the path of Hurricane Harvey?  I'm not exactly sure where Denton is.

 

My thoughts are with the people of Texas and all those affected.

From a quick look Denton appears to be fairly central in Texas - I'd expect some wild weather for sure but I would be surprised if they got as hammered as Corpus Christi.

Denton is up near the Oklahoma border. They're far enough away from the coast that I expect them to get a lot of rain rather than all of the rain.

 

So... um... I guess my SO might get FEMA overtime after all. That means I can spend more on the KS...

One thing you can can count on with Reaper; if they weren't 99.9% sure a model was going to be available, they would not show it in a preview.   They really don't like to tease their customers only to disappoint them.   As others have said, they have a pretty good idea how this will play out, and won't risk anything that will disappoint customers.

Let's see. Seven days left, so the same time left in B3 was at $1.375M goal. B4 is at $1.717M. Yes, different spans, but work with me here. B3 then had 16 more goals met. Say B4 doesn't perform as well, or that since the funding is higher we've had more reveals already and they'll get farther apart (core set mostly affected, as the cost goes up each addition; add ons are gravy with expansions being their own thing). So let's say we have 12 reveals left, 75% of B3 at same time remaining.

 

We have the three already announced. Dance of Death and Blacksting have been teased. Say maybe one more teaser I missed? That's six things we know are upcoming and leaves 6 more things we know nothing about. Even halving that means 3 new reveals to be surprised by.

 

The reveals will get less deep, and will eventually become just the next goal only. That last revealed goal will be achieved, trust in that. One reason Reaper puts 'DFTBA' in their email updates.
