completed Reaper Bones 4: Enthusiasm and Commentary Thread

Sat down (finally) and worked out what I should add to my $1 pledge, since I wasn't going for the core set this time. Needed to figure out what I would be willing to pick up in retail, versus the whole she-bang.

 

Right now, with a low-end estimate from my backside on the retail cost, I'm $4 away from getting the core set. So more or less, a single figure. Unless I go through a scrub it hard. Which I might.

i dunno, the core set just isn't doing it for me. Gauth is nice but not something i need, i prefer made-for-Bones dragons. There isn't enough in the core set to say 'i must have this', and if anything, 20+ goblins is making me not want it all the more lol\

 

i like the townsfolk, and dire animals. i hope there are more townsfolk coming

Yes, so far I am holding judgement on the core set till we see more unlocked. Hopefully one or two more big guys and more interesting things may make me want to stretch 100 bucks out, but right now it's just the wraiths and the high rollers (which is good for the wallet). We'll see, we still have 32 days, anything can happen.

16. Half dragon?- will make a nice villain

17. Pig w/ cart = yes plz

Townsfolk- I can still use more of

Knights- Love me some knight sculpts.  Maybe someday I will learn to paint them properly.

Armored Goblins = yes plz x3

Wraiths  *drool*

Hill giants- My collection is rounding out nicely.  My ogres won't seem so gigantic anymore

Narglauth- I doubt I will ever use it...and yet

High Rollers- Modrons

Fire Giant- This will fit in nicely with my B3 Fire Giants... in fact VERY well with the jailer from B3

 

Can't wait to see what else they have to show us!

Nice starting selection of minis and stretch goals so far! The new fire giant is my favorite out of everything that's been revealed. More giants, please!

 

Also, sorry if it's been asked already (I don't have time to read through 40+ pages in this thread), but any chance we'll see mini versions of Mr. Bones' gaming buddies? I don't normally go in for chibi stuff, but those would appeal to me since I'm already familiar with the normal versions.

I thoroughly support Bahama Mahamut. What about a Tiki Tiamut?

If we see sprues again it would be cool to get a modern/scifi weapon equipment sprue but be and may net be high
