The updates state: We are not done adding to the core. 

 

So it's as Argentee says, they are trying to get down to 1 reveal at a time. They showed further out to help hype up excitement earlier but now it's time to tighten down.

 

Bruan in the comments said, sometime today get to one orange goal only.

Hopefully we all wake to a reveal, currently less then 49K. At this point, I cannot take many more reveals, my heads about to explode:) As long as DoD is unlocked, i'm good. Well that and maybe a cat dragon:)

After having slept on it, I feel better about the VAT. I will get fewer minis than expected, but at least I won't get a huge unexpected bill in spring '19.

Reaper themselves stated in the update, that collecting the VAT was new information to them. There are a few problems with this, one being that some backers are from inside Europe but outside the EU (Norway, Switzerland, ...) who have to pay VAT in their country again when getting a package through the UK. Apparently you can mark packages as destined to end up outside the EU and don't pay VAT when importing into the UK or something similar, but the way it is right now those backers pay VAT twice.

Same problem would potentially occur in case of a "hard Brexit" with all the other EU backers.

 

And ofc, it's kind of killing the 48-hours hype when you log in to your pledge manager and see that you blew your budget without adding anything.

If Brexit happens I prefer Reaper to send my stuff directly from US to Netherlands.

I only pay customs once then instead of twice.

Maybe we should collect all the Europe questions somewhere and try to get them answered. I feel like people are more insecure about EU shipping than before the Update. And ofc noone knows how Brexit is going to work exactly, but some questions are being asked quite a lot, so a "if ..., we do ..." answer would be nice.

I'm not sure about the Valley expansion because AdventureScapes is coming, but I sure wouldn't mind a mammoth, some prey, and hunting dogs so I can play *this* game solo in 28mm... :D

What is Adventurescape?? And is it strictly gaming stuff or is it useful for someone like me?
