yeah, I did that, but it doesn't show on my pledge on Kickstarter. Is it normal? Sorry, I know it has been explained many times... english is not my first language and I suspect lots of info gets lost in translation....

Yes, it is. Reaper will know what you want through their PM. Right now they don't know how much you pledged, but KS will release that information right after the KS closes. 

Then you will be able to see your pledged amount as a kind of "gift card" to spend on stuff in the PM. You will also be able to add additional funds directly through the PM.

The pledge doesn't tell Kickstarter what your new pledge is.  You have to go to KS an manually change your pledge.  DO NOT change your pledge level, only the amount.  Otherwise you will end up in a different wave.

So in your case, go to Manage your pledge.

 

Change the amount that you pledged fro $100 to $338.  

 

Done.

 

When the KS closed and the Pledge Calculator turns into the Pledge Manager, you will be able to apply the $338 to what you select and "Lock In" your pledge.  You can then add more items to the manager and pay for those separately, up until the cut off date.

Kickstarter tracks a few things. Mostly, what they track is your pledge level and the amount of money you have pledged.

 

Creators wanted to find a way to reward backers when the project earned a lot of money, and so the creators invented the ideas of stretch goals and add-ons. But these things aren't part of what Kickstarter actually tracks, it's just something the creators need to figure out themselves.

 

Reaper is a creator and they want to have stretch goals and add-ons and all of these fun things that Kickstarter doesn't track! So they have built themselves a system. But their system is not part of Kickstarter, so the two systems don't talk to each other. That's why when you change something in the pledge manager it doesn't automatically show up in Kickstarter; it's a totally different system!

 

Once the Kickstarter is totally over Reaper will, eventually, get a list of backers, pledge levels, and amounts pledged. They'll load this into their system (the pledge manager) and try to match the Kickstarter email address with the email address you used to sign up for the pledge manager. Again, they use email address because Kickstarter and the Pledge Manager are different systems, built by different people, that aren't connected. If your email address in the pledge manager doesn't match, Reaper can fix it, but you need to tell them there's a problem!

 

Once everything is connected, the pledge manager will know how much you pledged for the Kickstarter. You'll be able to add more money through the pledge manager and buy more things and sometimes, occasionally, Reaper adds a couple of extras that weren't in the Kickstarter that we can get. There'll be more information on all of this later, after the Kickstarter.

I remember saying, back in the days of a week or so ago before we knew about the Lost Valley expansion, that they were probably saving an expansion for the final day or two because that $50 add-on for a bunch of stuff would be really awesome just when everyone's staring at the kickstarter.
