Oh man, when I saw the lost world expansion, I thought "Alright, I can save a bit, this one isn't really my taste." Then I see the fan favorite. Cavalry, a sweet portal. PENGUINS! I can make the ultimate swarm! The penguin swarm! So I get on, deciding it's not THAT much more, and just when I'm scrolling down to the pledge manager, I see it. Wave 1 for the Americas, 1 out of 1000. So now I'm getting the fan favorites, and I've gone from wave 6 to wave 1.

We've got guests coming over for a Labor Day cookout tonight, so I'll be phone checking as well.

If the scale on that thing is right, it would definitely work!  Problem with so many of the Forge World monsters is a serious lack of scale photos compared to other models.  Between the costs and ease of working with the material, I would much rather use Bones models for my big models.

 

I mean, I have half a Mordheim warband that's various Bones models, and they look perfect next to some GW models for that.

 

Goodness, that Fan Favorite expansion looks neat.  Kind of small, but definitely interesting, and I'm excited to see the rest of it!

Currently hiding in the bathroom while the boys are loading gear into the car and I'm basically ogling the ghost pirates. I'm running a short pirate campaign right now, so I think in a couple of years, the ghosts of my PCs mutinous shipmates might show up to haunt them

I love the ghost pirates, but I would also love if they weren't the only unlock at this level. It would feel a bit anticlimactic after three big unlocks the level before. 

 

I assumed Reaper was going to throw a few more logs onto the fire when I woke up, but maybe not. We're getting within sniffing distance of the next ding, and maybe they'll just go all out at that point.

So how do you up a pledge in the pledge manager but avoid giving up a wave 1 spot?

 

I have read this is a risk if the wrong things are clicked ?
