Yeah, I noticed she never popped up. Neither did the multi-part Anhurian soldiers, the Cleocatra chibi figure, the large humanoid (bugbear/ogre/not sure what it was) figure, and there are a couple others that I remember seeing at Reapercon, but not in this KS. What ekse never showed up that people can remember?

I went through some of the old threads (of course, all the photobucket ones are kaputt), and there were a few interesting things.

Some of the pictures were pretty enlightening as to what Reaper already have the prototypes for.  The Gulper looks like it might be "huge" while the pack terrapin might only be "large".

There was a "marsh monster" of some sort that had what might have been a snapping turtle on its shoulder and an owl sitting between its antlers/branches in its head.  This was a Jason Wiebe sculpt shown with some items (the apes, gulper, dragon turtle, etc.) that showed in Bones IV.

There was some kind of "King Tut Crawling Tank" that was shown it was next to (what I assume are) the multi-part Anhurians.  These were on the shelf with the Baba Yaga's hut, Dire Crocodile, Owlbear, etc.

There was another rather unpleasant looking soul with a rather large battle-axe, and the aforementioned bugbear/ogre with a mace and shield.

The female summoner on the shattered altar, Bast/Cleocatra, and the cobra's base.

There might be more, but that's what I found.

I have worked in plastic injection molding in the automotive industry and I can say that this piece could not be molded whole. It could probably be all in one die, but would then require assembly which increases the piece cost considerably. Of course I don't work for Reaper nor have I discussed this item with anyone at Reaper, but the increased cost may make this model less attractive in Bones material to both Reaper and ultimately the consumer. Maybe we'll see it in resin?

Many of the current Bones line aren't single-piece construction.  The Carrion Worm, for example, is no less than three parts.  There might be more, but I know there are three (erupted ground, worm body, and teeth).

Which isn't to say that the cultist would be able to be done in an "acceptable" number of pieces for Reaper (whatever that number may be), just that there are multi-part models in that size range already.

I hope that she makes it into the pledge manager.  Or, if that's not possible, into Bones V along with Murkillor, Wraith King of the Dark Moors!

Yeah. I'very been buying Bones since before the first KS, so I know many Bones have multiple parts. This model appears to have many areas that would be difficult to de-mold, requiring not just a few pieces, but several. Again, this is just a guess based on having worked in manufacturing and looking at one photo, so I could very well be wrong. I hope so!

The photo was taken at Toy Traders in Langley B.C., the largest independent toy store in Canada.

Latecomers who didn't pledge before Bones 4 ended pay an increased cost in the pledge manager over those who backed.

My sister took us to a massive toy/hobby/games store in Langley last Christmas...  Might be the same one.  I really need to get the address of it.  ::D:

For those wanting the toad riding a rhino beetle. Looking at the chaos toad savage and with some careful snipping and cutting it should be easy to mount it the rhino beetle.

The Reaper frogs are good if you're going for something fairly serious. If I were going for a more whimsical version like the artwork some days ago, I'd take a look at the Dark Sword frogs.

If it had life size figures from movies, cartoons, etc  all over the store as well as a huge display of a Star Wars Death Star then yep, it was Toy Traders.

(just off the Langley Bypass)

Yup!  Also had some metal Reaper minis, which are increasingly rare to find in stores.

The BF and I ended up with.... a lot. A heck of a lot. Enough to keep us occupied for a friggin' long time. I shall not reveal what the damage is. But there were several that we both super duper wanted so we doubled up on. Others like the expansions were easier to divvy up (he wanted monsters, I wanted villagers and fungus, stuff like that).

He has 18 months to learn to paint stuff. He's on Figure #2 right now and jumped into this like a madman. Wish me and the other Coloradans mad skills in teaching, and him swift learning!

The DS frogs are a bit more anthropomorphic though, instead of a straight up tree frog.

It's amazing how many people are feeling the same way I am:  disappointed there's no new goal to wake up to this morning.  I guess it was a good Kickstarter, we're all hung over from too many stretch goals!  :;):

Well, in three days, ForgePrint's AdventureScapes KS will be starting up. Better sober up, quickly! Just found out that the $65 EB-all-week Wizards' Lair set will have add-ons to become a frikkin' wizard's *tower*.  Docks and taven sets will also be available, for your drunken sailors. Then there's a bunch of other KS's coming up: Doomtown expansion set, Conan Set book, Fat Dragon 3D printer files. I also feel like that kid in the toy store -- a dollar, five dimes, five nickels and a quarter left in his pocket!

And Reaper's added *bases* to the PM, if you missed out on Base Boss. I have some Savage Worlds metal Sixth Gun miniatures which use display lipped bases. So, if I'm going to rebase the Savage Worlds Bones miniatures, I should pick up some matching Reaper display lipped bases. I think I have two bucks, at least!

Awesome! Keep on sharing the love for the craft. Sounds like a nice division of minis as well.

My wife likes to sit and watch me paint -- for a little while at a time so far. Haven't gotten her to pick up her own brush yet though.

Where are you finding about the upcoming kickstarters?

Yep, I think it is set to be a good division. He isn't too shabby considering how green he is. I'm sure he'll be set for all the loot when it finally arrives!
