Not quite true - Some were added last time as the PM opened, but more were added later on (different colored weapons, and ... something else people were talking about in the kickstarter comments)

 

Reaper has said to not draw conclusions from past precedents, I would wager that if the Pledge Manager goes well they will show more. Best advice is to lock in everything you know you want at the moment and keep an ear to the ground for any more updates.

So, if I was in wave 1 and was the first person to lock in, my goodies would be shipped first, no matter how many additional orders I did. But if I'm in wave 1 and I don't bother locking anything in until July 31, well, I may not be dead last, but I won't be first. 

 

Now, this excludes international backers. All their stuff gets boxed up and set out before NA. 

 

Also, note that once reaper gets the gears on their shipping construct oiled up nicely, each wave only takes like, a day and half, or so. 

 

But some people care about being first

i went ahead and locked in. 

I believe reaper said something to the effect that they were NOT running the PM like last time, and may still add stuff as it goes along. All we can do is lock in, and keep watching updates and PM in hopes they add something. Its a long time till July 31st 2018

I locked in what I can afford now, because I KNOW this is my biggest part of what I want, and as I can afford I will add. As reaper said, lock in what you have so you don't forget and end up with nothing Ultimately, as long as the date doesn't slip past my 50th birthday (May 2019), I will be quite happy!

And on top of that, they all sit on a pallet waiting for pickup anyway.

indeed, what i'm meaning by 'don't expect anything' was that we don't need to fall into the same 'hope and possibly be disappointed' trap we had with the imaginary capstone.

If we don't expect Reaper to add the 3rd part, then there will be no disappointment if it never shows up. Where as if people hope and believe it will eventually be added, and it doesn't, then they'll get mad at reaper or feel disappointed or wahtever

 

so...better to just take what we have, and not hope for anything.

That's the lesson i've learned this KS at least, and will apply to all future ones

if you don't hope, don't hype, don't get super excited about things, then there won't be disappointment and you can just enjuoy what actually comes as the surprise it is, without any previous expectations of what's coming

Just the caveat that this was true last time and might NOT be true this time.  I don't think Reaper has said anything about how they are doing it this time.

I don't think it is broken. I was at the post today and there was some notice about some price changes, can't remmember the exact details.
Also, $10!! Where do you live mate!? Sydney?

That gargoyle is the best thing about Hero Quest.

 

I'm getting one because MrBoot saw it and said "Oh, that's a great balrog!" I mean, I was planning to get one anyways, cuz it IS a great not-balrog, but it's nice to have husband/DM approval too.

 

...I may never be able to paint it, though, because he's said that everything I paint, he'll try to work into a game somehow. Given that I've already painted Kaladrax, Khanjira, Ma'al Drakar and Mashaaf, I'm already worried.

I'm not planning on getting the core set,  if i was then it would make sense,  but even when i drop everything out except for a $3 pack of bases it is giving me $20 postage with just the core or is the same,  core plus the add ons i want,  no change in postage. 

 

So considering that the minimum being charged is $20 it's broken
