-The Rulers of Hell or Nyarlathotep (at least I think so because we have only seen concept art)

-Frost Giant Raiders (looks like they will have lots of detail)

-I don't really do duplicates although I might try my hand at some conversions so I may get a core extra or two but not sure which ones.

-I will definitely be getting many bases!  (have you those prices?!)

 

What do you hope to see most in Bones 5?

-Dragons and other large creatures with riders

-Oni

-More Lovecraft creatures

-Nuppeppo (maybe an evil version)

-Pixiu (Chinese griffon)

-casualties!!!

 

Edit: Oh oh oh another Kaiju!!  Khanjira has to fight someone! (I still need to get Khanjira though.  I want him more than any other current Bones but Bones 4 took all my money for a long while)

Anyone gonna try and put the dragon turtle in resin to make it appear like its swimming?  i'm thinking having its head above surface of the resin so its like its surfacing...maybe change angle of tail so its not all in a line.

And also the High Rollers, someone suggested using poker chips as bases, so I need to find some:) Ooh maybe get a box of those cheap ones at 99 cent store and glue a bunch together as a base:) Or would some nice looking vegas ones be better?

Yes, I know, with all those extra cores, why not just buy another core set? I will decide that by February, see if an extra $40 is worth just getting. we'll see:)

NOT the time machine

NOT LXG (league of extraordinary gentlemen)

and of course CAT DRAGON! (or praying it shows up as a power up!!!!)

More Townsfolk! (can never have enough variety for a village when you actually use terrain and make a village)

I just locked in a whole bunch of stuff, but I still have some room left in my original pledge budget.

 

With most of it locked in, I figure that I will fill the last 15% or so in over the next month or two.

Which mini do you think will be the hardest/take you the longest to paint? I gotta say the Dragon Turtle, mostly because of my plan to put Discworld on his back.

What mini are you buying the most of (now or planned at retail)? Hmmm...I'm only getting singles, but I think when they come out in retail I'll definitely be grabbing an adventure's worth of Dark Elves. :)

What do you hope to see most in Bones 5? Moar dragons!! Oh, and hopefully a bigger Chronoscope offering.

What mini are you most excited to paint?

Gauth. I've never tackled a dragon before, not a real dragon. Hordes minis don't count as real dragons  I've also never done anything that big before.

 

Which mini do you think will be the hardest/take the longest to paint?

It depends. It really depends. How detailed will Gauth become? Will I basecoat all these goblins then let them sit there staring at me for a year? I've done that often enough before, I will do it again.

 

What mini are you buying the most of (now or planned at retail)?

There's going to be a pile of eyebeasts once they hit retail. Other than that, it depends on Things. Such as: will the cost of building a new computer represent a year's worth of commissions or will it be paid for with one real paycheck?

 

What do you hope to see most in Bones 5?

I hope there will be a Bones 5. Alternatively, I could always use more Cool Things.

The Dinosaurs, Dragons, and Daemons (or is it demons?) I am most excited for.  Though I have to give mention to those Frost Giants and the Scenery as they look fun to paint.

 

Which mini do you think will be the hardest/take you the longest to paint?

No clue.  Probably the larger models.  But really, I am so out of practice on painting that spending a few weeks getting caught back up on a few of the basic figures for practice will take longer than once I get my hands back in the game.

 

What mini are you buying the most of (now or planned at retail)?

I might get more of the Statues, Scenery, or large monsters.  My wife and step-daughter likes the idea of practicing their painting and gaining skills on larger models that are easier for them to handle and see the details.

 

Oh, and anything that can fulfill a need for a Warhammer army too

 

What do you hope to see most in Bones 5?

DINOSAURS & DRAGONS, Cavalry, DINOSAURS & DRAGONS cavalry, perhaps some Bear cavalry.  I would also like a Rhino and Hippo model.  How about an adventurer who is a Falconer, with a bird of prey on his/her arm or shoulder?  And since we had Were-armadillo last year, how about a Were-Opossum?  Heck, how about some creepy/Mythos style Cajun/Bayou/Redneck models?  Kind of like Dreadmere, but with moonshine, Voodoo magic, and hillbillies?

Nope! Two completely separate plans!

 

The Styxian barge is going to an undead slaver plan, while the undead pirates are going to, uhm, an undead pirate plan. (Or possibly a plan that they would have gotten away with, if it hadn't been for those meddling kids and their dog....)

 

The Auld Grump - I always suspected that the real villain was whomever was selling the bad guys their costumes, week after week after week....

I find the hardest/longest to paint question very interesting...not what i expected.

 

Do people try and paint everything to their best ability? As you can tell from my posts, depending what the model is, the detail level, size, and purpose (ie. contest or not) totally changes how much time and effort i plan to use...
