I hate to be a "Dougie Downer" but am I the only one that is getting a little nervous about Reaper sticking to update deadlines now that ReaperBryan is gone? I am new to this whole Bones Kickstarter thing, but it seems like the info channels are struggling a bit with his absence.

 

It makes me hesitate a little when thinking about adding to my pledge. Am I alone in this? If I am, please let me know, as I don't want to be an alarmist without cause.  Thank you to everyone here for being patient with me.

Not a Reaper employee and I don't know who is now responsible for the updates but I do know Reaper is attending PAX South this weekend. That could be leaving Reaper HQ a bit short handed.

I wouldn't worry about fulfillment/pledging extra. But it does seem like communication will take some time to get back to the previous standard.

I have not doubt this will fulfill, but under Bryan, Reaper set a high standard concerning communication and updates ... unfortunately this standard seems to be too high now for Reaper to hold. They knew that they'd be at PAX and still "promised" an update. That people are not enthusiastic about promises not kept is understandable. And of course, everybody wants to see shiny new toys.

 

Edit: and we got an update on a Saturday - which I did not expect to be honest. Well done, Reaper, well done.

Usually they would have postponed the update due to being at a con.. I think they just forgot to communicate that.. it will be fine.. with the holidays and Bryan gone, they just haven't gotten into a flow or probably got someone ramped up to speed to do them yet..

I have no concerns over fulfillment of this. And they're usually pretty good at communication. If they take a little time extra due to a convention and lack of RB, that's alright with me. They email promptly and have great customer service. This KS is so far out on fulfillment that we can afford a little patience on the updates.

Oh yeah. Julie nailed it once again. I'm not sure if I want to use them for PCs or bandit leaders. They look like they would make a memorable pair of bandits in a scenario.
