Everyone knows shoulders are a human's greatest weak point.  They must be protected at all cost.

Honestly, I figured that thread would either be merged or locked. It took longer than I expected. Because, while reaper is a great company, and takes our input seriously, at the end of the day it's still a private business, and they're gonna make the desicions about their product in their own way. 

 

Would I like to see the giantess keep the caribou? Yes. It's a neat detail. Do I expect reaper to make alterations to an expensive product because of that neat detail that they may have had good reason to cut? No.

Agreed. I've really grown attached to the idea of a sprue of dead animals (it came up in the Caribou discussion) which sadly is unlikely to happen so now I've doubly saddened myself. But not enough to not get the Huntress. She's fierce! And hey, who knows what Bones 5 will bring!

Put it in the bones you'd like to see thread! Lots of the suggestions in those threads make it, in some form, into mini form. I'm pretty sure there's lots of support for the dead animal minis (me for one).

 

Not that I like random dead animals. Just that minis of them are handy.

I agree with pretty much everything @redambrosia has said. 

 

A sprue of dead animals would be really useful. I know of some that Figone distributes animal minis and dead animals, but 1) high shipping costs, 2) delay time, 3) horrible packaging on resin and they'll probably come broken. With the heat-freeze trick you could probably even make Bones dead critters fall into the shape you want (like over a backpack). 

Plus they'd be useful for general adventuring, either as a "congrats you defeated this bear" or a "oh no, you encounter a dead bear, why is it dead?" situation, for whatever animal is in question. Knowing my groups they'd probably light it on fire either way.

Red pretty much summed up what I expected too.  There's usually one or two disappointments in every Kickstarter, the sheer number of models makes perfection impossible.  

 

I'm curious if you could use the heat trick to make a Bones animal look dead by heating it over an appropriately sized & shaped surface.  (Shoulders, floor, etc.).   We're much more likely to get a live caribou mini than a dead one.

Experiments could be done on the Bones unicorn or the pack camel (carve off the pack) to see if they can get bent into dead-poses.

Well carrying a dead unicorn would pretty much scream "bad guy" in my group.  Shame there are no Bones deer.

Yep somehow I did an oops, maybe even a Whoops!

 

A while ago I did my first round of locking in some of my selections in the pledge manager. 

I've gone back in several times to plan out the rest of what I want and what I should lock in next so I can budget.

 

When I went in tonight I noticed that everything I had locked in previously now showed that I had locked in two of each of those things.

 

Don't know how or exactly when that happened. I think I can work with that, but I am concerned I don't do that again as I don't need 3 of each.

There's a bug that makes everything display as if you've ordered double. If you exit out of the manager and reload it it should display correctly. I've seen it a few times (and was hopefully optimistic the first "Bank made an error in your favor, collect free minis"), but it is only a bug.

Not really a bug. 

 

It is a caching issue. Log out, clear your cache and it's fine when you log back in.

That is still a bug.  A bug in the cache, but still a bug.  37 years in computer support so I know bugs.
