Is the female demon's sword detached? Could we make her a lefty?

While the piece that came of the printer had the sword as a seperate piece, it is unknown until we receive the test pieces from China exactly how they translated it into their mold.  They have often changed our jointing and attachment points.

So can I ask if the weird little circles on the back of the demon are not part of the actual final sculpt?

I'm not trying to start a big commotion or anything, just curious.

The last version I saw did not have the armor around his wing attachment points, however, I did not send the actual model to China for the mold making, so there is an uncertainty about my answer for the final version.

The female's wings do attach in her hair, but green work for hair is pretty easy to cover the holes.

And please accept my disclaimer that changes often occur with the masters we send to make them work in the molds so current probable answers may be different once we receive the actual test runs.

Ahhh so you are going to be testing my sculpting skills of which I have none.  Guess I better practice for the next few months ::D:

Another problem with converting the Rulers of Hell to more woodland-like creatures is going to be de-skulling them.   Looking at the concept art and the photo of the Queen master from the update, there are a lot of skulls on them/her that will need cutting off; some of which look like they're integrally designed into the shape of the armor...

Skulls can work with woodland creatures, make them more aged and yellowed. They are protectors for the forest and things age and die and decompose in the woods and fertilize the soil.

All the skulls!!!!!

YES
YES

YES

YES

I love all of you posting about necrodruids!!!

I just got around to the update, flipped out about that babe with those stinkin' adorable hooves, and my brain went, "I am death, protector of the forests" immediately.

We also finally scrabbled some funds about and we've got the rulers of hell, dance of death, and a certain art book on our list, along with a couple other things.

What an I going to do with the fantasy scenic pieces? Uh... Paint them? Hopefully use them for Frostgrave?

Thinking though about what the first mini I'll paint from the core set will be... Fair chance it'll be the pumpkin cart.

Translucent green ghost pirates in the Core.

Translucent purple phase cat, fungus, and crystals in Darkreach.

Translucent green passengers with the barge.

So I don't see a lot of people getting The Roc.  Why is that?

I am still on the fence about it and am curious about other people's opinions.

I am, but I am hoping that the legs get more hawk-like. The legs remind me of a chicken more than a bird of prey.

Oh, I need to get at least two, possibly three. One to be a giant eagle, one to be a Phoenix, and one to be a thunderbird.

Wait, make that four. One to paint up like the Seattle seahawk, for Hubby's buddy.
