I managed to sleep through the lot (cursed Work keeping both of us up late), so it would appear I missed Argent's unveiling! Ah, well.

And now I must go and shop for noms. So... I'll either hope somebody posts pictures so I don't have to dig 'em up myself. ^^;

Twitch archives the videos and they also said that they will post the video to Youtube.

 

P.S.  Argent looks GLORIOUS!  She is quite majestic.

Out of sheer curiosity, do we know approximately when the better pictures of the stuff featured on the Livestream will be posted?  Can't wait to see some of those, because apparently hubby really REALLY wants to see better detailed ones

 

Also, was the minotaur in "Sophie and Friends" showcased by chance?

 

 

 

....As an audio enthusiast, I also have to playfully ask...  Is there a reason why the microphone in those posted screengrabs earlier is tilted sideways with the top facing the staff, and the main part of the mic that records sound facing away from them?  The microphone isn't designed to grab sound that way as it's a side address microphone, not front/top.  ....Or was it set up in stereo or omnidirectional?

I'm also anxious to see that one. She looks like a yak style minotaur. If so, that would total her up to at least four kinds of awesome.

Will we get the youtube replay video and images today, or will it be tomorrow? I'm fine either way, but if it won't be today I'd prefer to know. I don't want to refresh the kickstarter and youtube page all evening needlessly.

you can hit facebook and see it on reaper's page right now. I even think you can see the chat log there.

Thanks a bunch Ratmaster! I don't use Facebook so it never crossed my mind to check there. 

 

Edit to add: There was a ton of info in this one. Well worth watching. The news about the v2 bonesium was the highlight. Definitely a big deal. I can't wait to check it out first hand.

Finally got the video to work! Of course, I had to run it on my laptop, because the Facebook app is terrible. 

 

Anyway, really looking forward to seeing better views of argent. It sounds like the scales are smoother than some of the other big dragons, which is pretty exciting. Maybe there will be pictures in the next update?

I too am excited for the new Bones material.  I just wish there was a set that I liked enough to justify getting one.  I'm hoping the wraiths come in the new material.

I know what you mean. I'm not getting any of the expansions either. Retail is going to hit me hard though.

Hmm, Argent looks great, we just need to hide the lines since the wings are made out of separate sections.

 

I also like the skeleton dragon although I didn't pledge for it.

My Kaladrax is painted, and I still have a Necrodrake ( Rafm)  and Nethyrmaul left in the Undead dragon department.

From what I understood from the video, the three sections for the wings was just a necessity of their printing the prototype.  I think Ron specifically said the actual model will have wings that are each in only one piece; so should be no lines.

correct, he did say that the actual model wings are going to be one piece, but their printer could not handle that size so they had to do 3 for the prototype
