From what I understood from the video, the three sections for the wings was just a necessity of their printing the prototype.  I think Ron specifically said the actual model will have wings that are each in only one piece; so should be no lines.

I'm happy I pledged for Argent.

Eventhough I don't need a dragon. ( Glares at unpainted Blightfang, Nethymaul, Kyra and Lavarath, Kyphrixis,T'raukzul, Ma'aldrakar, A Necrodrake from Rafm, Grenadier Wind Dragon and an Imperial Asian Dragon)

 

I also pledged for the Zombie Dragon, still in doubt about the skeletal dragon.

Maybe I still do want it....on the other hand before I have painted all the big ones I will be ruling the afterlife.

i'm actually pretty excited for the skeletal dragon. I've been trying to decide how i want to approach it, i have a few ideas:

 

- with the 'oil brown' look of a La-Brea Tar pit fossil

- dark purple bones with glowing runes carved into it

- more old bone look and sculpt on a mass of jewelry, as if a proud dragon is trying to cover his unsightly bones with his treasure so that he could be as beautiful as he was in life

I have to agree...  Even without higher quality photos where you can see things more clearly (which were mentioned as coming in the future), I've gone from a "meh" on the undead and zombie dragons to "omg I want one"...  I was originally "meh" because I'm not all that fond of skeletons, but with them being that big and the posing seeming to be even better than the renders... Yes please! 

 

Now wallet, please cooperate so it can all be done!

Will this great preview video be up on youtube at some point? For those of us who were unable to attend livestream due to weird schedules?

I wonder if the Skeletal Monsters set will be made in the new firmer material. The sculpts are great, but I didn't add the set because I'm not confident they would hold their poses in the normal material. The plan was to wait about a year or so after retail to see if they were solid, or if people reported any undead osteoporosis. If these will be cast in the new firm Bones, I'll definitely add them. I love swapping out one or two normal skeletons for a skeletal monster in games.

I only need this for paint and display, if these are more solid I will add them.

 By cheating of course! A friend who is also a Reaper fanatic screen-captured the video and sent me a rather wonky version of it.

 

 Not great pictures, but still good enough to make me very pleased I'd put down for 2 Dragon-turtles.

Are you logged into Facebook when you try it? I didn't actually use the link; I just went to their page and looked in the video section for it. I skipped the first couple minutes, which seemed to be mainly digital screaming. The first bit of the video was really choppy, but it evened out after a pause (which was amusingly awkward).

Ooh... Never thought of doing it La Brea tar pit style... May be stealing that!
