hey!  its update day.

So here is my plan:

I'm cleared by the surgeon to be back in the office for less than 4 hours a day. Preferring to work mornings, I leave at noon.

 

As soon as we can get the images to upload into the update, I'll post it. (yes, now assigned to me) 

Once posted, I need to supervise on the floor for a project.

If time permits, I'll return to my office to answer questions, monitor comments, that kind of thing.

Then I leave for my weekend.

So I thought there was something BIG coming for this update? Was it Argent or the nomination? (Congrats on that by the way!) Man, just to be a completist, I may actually order Chronoscope IF i have an extra fifty bucks next month (or before the 3rd of September, it could happen haha). I mean, they seem to be hammering that one a bit, so I may just get em to say "yah, I got all the expansions from Bones IV"

The fan favorite expansion is starting to grow on me...

Talking of the Fan Favourites expansion; Was it ever decided if the centre of the Mystic Portal will be clear or opaque plastic?

I do not remember that coming up on the livestream or anything recently. Maybe @Reaper Ron can shed some light

That is a great question that we can't answer yet.

We won't know which way it is going to go until we see the production proofs.

Lalalalalala... I can’t hear you! 

 

You have to stop talking that way! That’s the only one I’m missing too...and the urge is strong to remedy that. Must resist. Just wish it had a little more “Wow” in it like the other sets. 

 

 

  And, hmmm, the Frost Giant... I’ll say this, in general the details on her are beautiful!   And on a positive note, the offending areas certainly look like they’d be easy enough to slice right off they are so clearly defined and undercut. Or it also looks like it would be super easy to greenstuff in all the gaps, both between and under, to make the lay of the fabric look a little bit more natural.

I adore the little dino-guys in the Chrono Exp.  They have such great character.

The update is in! Blacksting looks really good, I'm going to enjoy painting his (her?) head.

So I am looking at the concept art...then I look at the figure...then I look at the concept. First, do not get me wrong, it is great concept art, but now that I see both I feel that the figure DOES look like a frost giant, and (and I think I thought this when the art was out, but never said) the concept art... I dunno, more looks to be Barbarians? They look just too on the light side to be Giants IMHO. 

 

As for the extension of PM, it's just making it harder NOT to be complete and get Chronoscope. And I keep getting more ideas to use them in some kind of Diorama setting:

309-311 - I could either do some kind of Mars Attacks or (using  310) some kind of Captain Pike Star trek dio. Does anyone know of a good Pike stand in, and weena (or whatever her name is, she reminds me of Weena from Time Machine)

319 -  I could saw off the horns and spiky bits, and do a Jesse Ventura mini, after all I am sure he has no time to bleed and would make a great sexual tyrannosaur!

327 and 328 - a Metropolis dio?

321 - ooh, a monsters inc! Dio 

Not sure what to do with the rest, maybe just practice techniques or *gasp* put them on that bay place

Will the War of Escalating Tariffs affect Reaper and/or Bones 4 in any way?
