I got duplicates of

Core set x 2
Monsters x2
Dire Beasts x5
Villagers x 2
Demons & Devils x2
Snake Cultists x5
Ape Attack  x5
Sophie & Friends x7
Living Statue Spartan x2
Living Statue Amazon x2
Thunderfoot Behemoth x2
Stygian Barge x2
Argent  x2

With 2 cores and 5 extras that gives me 7 sets of ape attack, dire beasts and nagas. But considering adding 3 more each to have 10 of each figure.

Dire beasts will make a good low level encounter set. A herd? Of boars or a bunch of crabs. Also make good summoned monsters or familiars/eidolons/ animal companions. Polymorphed bad guys. Etc.

They’re doubled up for me too.  (Along with a second pair of Ghost Pirates.) Somebody planning on visiting the Ghost Archipelago in their future? :)

Can't imagine why you might think that has anything to do with it...

This entire Kickstarter was full of great fun for Ghost Archipelago.  Snakemen, Apes, spirits, the majority of Lost Valley...

I couldn’t agree more!   You could probably outfit a couple of nice crews and almost the complete Bestiary from this Kickstarter’s offerings.

I made the same observation to the wife the other night!

Having just gotten the rules, I was obsessively going through the book looking for matches...and wowsers!  It gets even better when you go back through Bones 1-3.  So much Bones goodness.

I haven't decided if I will go nuts, or practice restraint.  I'm leaning toward restraint, but plans change...

So, restraint looks like what? Only 1 of everything?

Restraint sounds good...  And by that I mean practiced restraint, where you look like you will be able to restrain for about thirty seconds, THEN go on the shopping spree..

Restraint looks like black leather and a padlock.

I mean, I can't spend more if I can't open my (black leather) wallet.  Right?

Seriously though, as I know a padlock won't work (and would make my pants sag enough to embarrass the most "belts are optional" plumber), "restraint" means not buying anything for which you don't have a definite use.  I mean, I'd LIKE Argent, but I don't have a real use for her.  I need the barge for inspiration for the stories in my head.

And I need another Thunderfoot because...uhhh...reasons like mumble, mumble, mumble.

The problem with trying to decide what you have a need for might change greatly over the next year...  I never thought I'd need an aboleth, but was very glad I'd gotten one in Bones 3.

You mean that something exists beyond the now?!

I doubt you and your spurious heresy.

:;,;:

Seriously though, I don't have anything beyond (potentially) Ghost Archipelago.  So it's just the Mythos, the stories in my head, and some FFG stuff.

Well, the obvious answer to that is that you will always need one of everything ^_^

Yes, one of everything is infinitely practical and wise.

It’s when you need multiples of Every Thing that the folks from the Hoarders TV show come knocking!

I'm trying to decide if you made an (un)lucky guess, or if you've actually seen the basement.
