And 99.99% of the delays are usually out of their control.. the container didnt go on a ship.. the production was behind and they found out the day things were supposed to ship.. it happens and they plan for it as best as they can and communicate it to us as soon as they are able.  They get just as frustrated as we do..

I'm currently playing a halfling Druid stomping around Chult and he's having fun wild shaping as dinos!

 

Also, I only pledged for the Fan Favorite Expansion because of the Mammoth . . . 

 

Uh, and the Effrit and Djinn . . . 

 

Ok, and the Cat Folk . . . 

 

Isobel and her little dog too . . . 

 

And who doesn't want Frog Monsters!

One would hope so! But who knows. *shrug* I'm really not worried on the Reaper end of things. They're good on communication and they have a good track record on delivering.

X2 for this. Reaper's had a good enough reputation for long enough that I never worried about getting my stuff from them. They had some issues to deal with but it only meant delays not total non delivery like some kickstarters.

Technically, Bones 1 started shipping "on time" - that is, the first shipments went out the last week of the estimated ship month  Unfortunately, it was only a handful of orders, and it was another 3 months before shipping began in earnest.   That technicality aside, Bones 1 took the longest for everything to ship. 

Reaper learned a lot, and it was definitely applied to Bones 2 and 3. 

One observation I've had on  the Bones 2 & 3 delays is that in each case, it seems the cause of the biggest delays was something different, something unexpected.  They were applying all their knowledge gained and lessons learned to prepare for every eventuality they could think of, but getting hit with something they hadn't anticipated.  That has to suck for them. 

Anyway, my point is that if Bones 4 gets hit with delays, I expect it will be something out of left field that will have the Reaper crew going "WTF!?!"   And it will probably be something like a ship sinking, train derailing, factory burning down, or other completely random event - since I don't think there is much more "normal stuff" that they probably haven't anticipated by now.
