The thing that caught my eye was this: "This model's discoloration is a result of the recycled material used in the molding process.  This is not considered a defect."

Can you tell us more about using recycled material? I think it is awesome to reuse and recycle. How much Bones material is recycled plastic as opposed to new? Because if Bones is yanking plastic out of the system to make us fun stuff, I like it even more. Are the blisters also recycled (are they recycleable for that matter)?

I'm glad that little explanation was in there, because when I first saw it, I was going to comment to ask about what the discoloration was, because I couldn't decide if it was the material, paint or light.

As for using recycled material, I'm guessing that these were test shots, and that Reaper is looking to avoid any noticeable patches of color like this for KS or retail fulfillment, even if they are using recycled.   I can just imagine the sort of emails Reaper Customer Service would get:
"My Bones giant has big red swirls in him! He's defective!"

Probably, but I am curious if the material used in general is recycled. I'd quite like it to be. If that meant that Bones had some funny color swirls, I'm content with that. We paint over it anyway.

I truly don't wish to open old wounds, but I'm still very much in two minds about the Frost Giant Raiders. It may be just the angle that the picture has been taken at, but the face of the Ranger looks rather masculine to me.

She's fierce and vicious and rugged. I think it is fitting. They can't all be princessish like Yephima (awesome, but very different).

I think the final production shots have come more in line to what the artwork showed, so I am very happy how they came out. The ranger does look a little "boyish", but she did in the concept art too IMHO, so not unhappy about this. I do have one question, was the vote for update for the NEXT update? Seems we all want dreadmere or darkreach:) (they are tied atm), so was shocked to see giants (of course maybe I read the post wrong)

NEVERMIND, it does say 1/25 update, sorry.
