The thing that caught my eye was this: "This model's discoloration is a result of the recycled material used in the molding process.  This is not considered a defect."

Can you tell us more about using recycled material? I think it is awesome to reuse and recycle. How much Bones material is recycled plastic as opposed to new? Because if Bones is yanking plastic out of the system to make us fun stuff, I like it even more. Are the blisters also recycled (are they recycleable for that matter)?

I used to work in plastic molding in the automotive industry. The recycled portion of the plastic raw material is usually limited to 10% of the mix, and it has to come from a trustworthy source. You don't want to mix types of plastic (PVC, polystyrene, poly-carbonate, etc), and you want to avoid contamination from other materials, such as oil or metal. Most of the time (where I worked) the "recycled" material was from prototype runs,  incomplete fills of molds or other defects from the same plant that were then reground and re-introduced to the supply stream, or from another plant owned by the same supplier.

Now there are some products that can contain more recycled material; disposable plastic packaging is one such product.

Understandable issues. Figured I'd ask though!

I, for one, am very happy that the caribou is still strapped to her back.

I hadn't even noticed it was back until you pointed it out!  I am glad it is, though...random baggage like that always makes Giants seem...giant!

Love the update... especially since I am getting everything showcased.... One disappointment is the dire lion. Seems a departure from the concept.

My g'niece saw this and said "It's Diego from Ice Age!" I'm gonna have to get one now...

The caribou antlers are slightly larger on the figure than in the concept sketch *GASP!*.

Changes between concept art and physical figures are understandable and actually necessary at times, I'm still quite pleased with them and I'll be very happy when when they get into my hands come February-ish.

I'm just hoping we see a Bones caribou in the future. I need a noble steed for my wood elf lord!

February seems to close, and yet so far... I should probably start making some space for the massive box that'll be coming my way...
