It helped that I was working at a call center that didn't complain when I painted minis at work. You get a lot done when painting during a 10 hour shift...

 

I recently changed jobs, and until I get into a comfortable state at the new one, painting is probably going to be much harder to accomplish, sadly...

This is my first Bones Kickstarter, in the past has there been any sort of "Bones Bulk Blast" group to try and get through them as a group activity? If so I'll certainly be signing up I think!

We've done a few events, mostly informal painting contests, but nothing like a painting group. It would be pretty cool though!

If previous KS are any indication I'll take a quick look to see everything is in order, grab a couple favourites to paint and then pack them away for a few months. Then I'll go though them again sorting them into my existing boxes by theme, again grabbing a few to paint up. Then they will sit for years with occasional stirring as I look for something relating to whatever I'm working on or just grabbing random things to break up/rest from my major projects. Honestly don't know how much I've painted out of the other Bones KS but probably only 25% by number but closer to half by weight. Focused more on big monsters and terrain with my painting because that was really lacking for me. So many minis so little energy right now.

Be careful, I'm pretty sure they multiply when you're not looking.

You have painted most of your bones3 minis?   Did you do the first KS as well? 

I finished 1 and 2, but have only painted 1/3 of KS3 core - im still looking at 2 years at current pace.

 

I didn't get the core set of bones4 - just a lot of Dinos, and some extras. (Bring on the BOAT!)

It's like Christmas. Sleeping on Christmas Eve is so suspenseful.

Any day BUT Feb 20th (my wife will hurt me haha if it happens on THAT day)
