Since this is my first Bones KS I have no clue what the size of the box will be.

Ugh!  I don't know if I can wait any longer!

yup i decided, DoD is definitely one of the first things to be painted. Already have my scheme in mind

I am still contemplating the paint scheme I want.  Since this will be such a center piece of my collection I want to make sure I get it right.  First I have to decide if they are fighting or courting.

It's been asked before, but what's the first thing you're planning on working on when it arrives?

I've never painted up a dino before so I'm itching to paint up the Thunderfoot Behemoth. Loved three horns ever since I was a kid. Really hope I can do it justice.

I think I already mentioned what I wanted to paint first.

But I can change my mind any time!

Candidates are for sure a Barge, A Thunderhoof, A Blacktooth Terror, Zombie Shark, The Mammoth, the Rhinocerous Beetle.

I'm also keen on painting the Snail, the female Efreeti/Djinn and the Ankylosaurus.

That Cave Bear looks nice as well though.

Hmmm, maybe a small thing to finish quickly?

Penguins?

The huge Snake might become an idol for my Lost World, paint is as stone and use flock and vines.

Ah, the possibilities!

BRING ME BONES!!!!

So, no bets or date guesses, what does everyone estimate the size of their shipping box will be :)

Probably big enough for ten cats to sit in comfortably :ik_oops: Hubby's cat should be pleased with the size. It will certainly be bigger than last time, which was a bit snug for him (he made it work though).

He'll sit in it until he throws up in it, then he'll look at it sadly and meow pitifully at us.

Question for the other people from non-English speaking country:

Did your shipping address contain one of the "extra" letters not in the English alphabet (like ä, ö, ü, ß)? If so, did it convert and print out properly or should I change my address?

We did have some troubles with those letters somehow ending up as gibberish in the past.

Asked that question in the Info thread.

Just had that problem not too long ago with another shop, and if there was a history of problems with those labels containing non-standard characters, I'd send it to another adress.

I wouldn't take my chances with such a shipment.

If you can use an address from someone you can trust, I would use that one.

Sorry @Nunae no strange characters in my address, maybe ask Reaper if they can handle it?

As for the first one to paint, somebody mentioned Nyarly!

I want to paint it as a plant monster for my Lost World!

Another candidate!

I'm thinking about creating a large dio of Nyarly and Treeman in a jungle vs. coniferous forest show down.

Well, problem isn't to find a person I can trust, it's to find a person I can inconvinience. If the package gets stuck in customs, the person on the address label has to go and open it/pay for it/get it and if it gets through customs the person would still need to pick it up from the post office, if they're not home when the DHL man rings.

Probably still the safer solution, but an official answer would probably help the other Nordic/German/Turkish/other customers to avoid unnecessary problems.

Reaper hasn't had issues shipping normal stuff to my address which has letters in the postal code. It doesn't have non-English letters, though.
