Are we going to see a 'shipping tracker' like prior years that'll tank our productivity for weeks while we watch for our city?

So, several months ago I promised my wife I wouldn't buy any more miniatures until this kickstarter delivers (to which she replied "why would I care?"). I then told her I wouldn't support any more kickstarters until after this delivers (to which she replied "I still don't care"). I just told her it looks like they may not ship until March so it looks like no more money spent on minis in February (at which point she rolled her eyes and said "seriously, just buy some miniatures"). So yeah, we're pretty excited it's getting closer.

I am in Wave 1 and I locked in early and I know once they get going (after working out the kinks) they go fast so I am hoping only a day or two of missed work... Well not missed I'll be here I just won't be productive.

I reuse the baggies.

I also transfer to large freezer bags. This year will be weird.

Oh my... If these get here just before or during my staycation in March that would be amazing! The timing will be close though...

 

Also I use small Ziploc baggies, similar to the ones Hasslefree sends their minis in to store normal and small sized minis, and sandwich and gallon bags to store larger figures. It seems to work pretty well for keeping the bits together. I also have a gallon bag for one piece bones minis because I will sometimes use them during games even though they aren't painted, so it's nice to have the "usable" ones in one place.

I just hope we get an update on when the container has officially left China so that we know if it left before Chinese New Year because that could push us back into a May delivery.  Chinese New Year is early so it will be close!  Hopefully when they say it's supposed to ship the first of February that they mean February 1st!  (By they I mean whoever is doing the shipping)

Yup, February 1st would be cutting it close as this year's Chinese New Year's looks to start February 5th. It should be fine if the 1st is the day the ship leaves dock, as long as customs is up and running we should be good. I am confident in Reaper, no worries!

Sorry guys.  I went ahead and changed my address so my Bones 4 pledge wouldn't be left out in the cold while I was away for February.  That slight gesture of not procrastinating  obviously caused this delay.

Might as well blame me too. I predicted Bones 4 would be here the day I had to go back to work.

 

We got funding. I'm going back to work, maybe today, maybe Monday. 

 

Unless I was predicting the next funding lapse  I might still be right...

Oh I have faith in Reaper I just worry about the shippers holding up their end.

A one month delay for a project of this scale is still pretty amazing and better than most KS projects.

 

For we who live in the frozen North, a few extra weeks can be good just to avoid any accidental paint freeze.

 

[Note to self: Remember to buy that extra paint caddy for all those new paints.]

When in doubt, blame me, I did think they might be here in that sweet gap right after I'm finished with my bachelor final project thesis thing.

But it's not like I don't have stuff to paint in between.
