So excited for the Dreadmere expansion!  I may even paint up that rowboat first since it's potentially so useful.  I'm also excited to see the translucent wraith thingy from the Darkreach expansion looks just like the promo mini from last October.  I need a handful of those when they hit retail.  Plus the portal and the purple crystals.  Fingers crossed that they get that boat on the water as promised!

Now that it is in bones Black I may regret not getting the dreadmere expansion

That was the Oct 2018 promo.  It is not part of the Dreadmere expansion and will not be releasing to retail.

I'm curious how much more this campaign could have made had they announced Bones Black at the time of launch.  I'm guessing Bones V will be heavy with Bones Black (hopefully with some busts)

As far as I have understood the black/grey in Bones IV is just a colour and not the new Black Bones Material that was used for the Owlbear and Troll.

Am I right @ladystorm ???

My understanding is that all of the figures in the Bones IV core set will have the grey color but all of the expansions and some of the add ons will be the true Bone Black material.

I love that pack turtle- the more I look at it the more I suspect that will be the first thing I paint from Bones 4!

I don't think nothing is out yet as there hasn't been actual stock numbers to match up with the minis or all their actual names announced yet.

 

Dreadmere looks awesome. Is is an expansion I didn't get. Mainly with all the human sized figures in it & at the time my reluctance with human-sized Bones figures. If those are actual piece we'll be getting then I'll be a happy person & the metal figures I've gotten so far that have come out from this expansion, may find their way back to Denton, TX in a future summer trip.

 

Torlan & Bufo are 2 I'll definitely get at retail, along with the tortoise & few other items as well. I do like the final portal sculpt, the earlier one, with the closed gate, I wasn't too keen on as it looked too much like a giant sphincter (Sorry TS....).

 

Also love seeing the spirit beast now after seeing Talin's artwork for it in scale in the ReaperCon Dreadmere guide last year. Awesome work!!

If the turtle is made from Bones Black, your wish may be granted at least for resin-like quality.

 

I can't recall correctly if all expansions were in BB material or just a few of them...

Core set is Bones.

Expansions are Bones Black.

Some addons will be Bones.

Some addons will be Bones Black.
