Expansions are Bones Black.

Some addons will be Bones.

Someone on the KS comments keeps saying a few items from the core will be black, but I haven't read that anywhere. He says he heard it in one of the Reaper Lives, but I think they'd be making a bigger deal out of it if it were. Plus I was under the impression they have had all the core in hand for a while now.

I think the whole core set is regular Bones but they did add a little pigment to the mix so they won't be the traditional white but will be a grey color.

I'm also remembering that the expansions and some Add Ons are Bones Black, but maybe I'm misremembering things from all the different informations sources.

 

Someone in the KS comments was confused with the january owlbear, since there also is an owlbear in the core set.

 

Again, the Dreadmere people look really, really good, if that's their production quality I don't care if it's Bones or Bones Black.

Honestly, I hope the terrapin isn't in bones black. From what others have reported, the material isn't as easy to cut as bones material is, and I really want more than one which I will be modding. Hoping to have a little caravan of turtles!

i honestly doubt any of them are going to be Bones Black, since that is a new line of minis, and completely separate

Core set stays in current DHLBones line (77xxx).

 

The add ons are mixed between the two product lines. I'd need a cheat sheet in front of me to know which items are which.

The terrapin is, but I wouldn't worry too much. The owlbear isn't as easy to slice up (I trimmed some edges and cleaned mine) but it is still easier than metal. Unless you really want to be chopping the terrapin into stew meat, I don't think you'll have too much trouble.

Given that the minis can be made in any color, does that mean even the translucent minis in the expansions are "Bones Black"?
