Short answer yes.

Bones Black translucents were shown in the Feb.1st update and will also be shown in a future Reaper Live episode.

I want to say that one one of the Reaper Lives they said they could make translucent Bones Black but I don't recall if they said these would be them.  So I wouldn't be surprised if they were.  But don't hold me to that.

I've been thinking about this for a few days but have been unable to think of the proper word for it- whats the word for like a litter/palanquin type seat (covered) that goes on an animal's (like an elephant) back? I feel like I've only seen it in cartoons and it's vastly impractical, but I'd still like to see one that's on the pack terrapin.

"Howdah" is the word you're looking for. And yes, that glorious tortoise needs one.

Yes, absolutely, I've been clamouring for a howdah on the back of the tortoise since the minute I saw the artists sketch. 

 

This figure has so much potential, a wide variety of loads for different genres/periods could be added, a palanquin for wounded adventurers, a miniature swivel gun or harpoon,,, the only limit to the items that Reaper could add are our imaginations.

I made the mistake of adding up all my  Bones 4 orders yesterday ... 

 

But the exciting part is, when this box arrives, the status of my D&D game will jump from "miniatures for the most important enemies and ofc for the player characters, the rest gets a paper stand in" to "miniatures for ALL the things". This core set really is great at bulking up a game master's repertoire, and together with the fantasy expansions it hits a lot of common game situations. Holes still left, like more skeletons or dragons, are easily filled with what's already available in Bones.

 

I may need to change my shopping strategy now, I'm no longer in the stage of needing basically everything, I'm sure that's gonna happen

And it would be interesting to know which Bones are the late arrivals, but I get why they don't announce that. "I'm not even getting set xyz, just send my stuff out already!!!!"

I figure we'll be told whether or not they did in the next update.  If they missed their ship, there's not much any of us can do about it.
