What mini are you getting that is at the bottom of your "to paint" list?

 

For me it's the chibis.

Also not really interested in the chibis, but already got a friend who thinks they're great and will paint them. I'm probably gonna paint various adventurers from the core last, I just don't paint such miniatures without a player needing a PC miniature. My players are often very particular with their character minis, so we mostly buy new ones that fit what they imagined their character to be.

Yeah I can’t see the chibis seeing paint time anytime soon. Anything that falls under “character mini” is probably going to the bottom of the pile really, as a DM I am trying to prioritise monsters, I paint “characters” a bit but I mainly try and paint what I think is going to see table time, so if a character mini isn’t earmarked as an npc, none of my players take a shine to it or or doesn’t match a pre-made character I’m building for some reason... it goes on the top shelf. Which sounds like a place of honour, but is actually a reference to me needing a chair to get to it, and as such am less likely to!

Probably the Rock Giants, but it might take a while before I tackle the Roc actually.

yours get a shelf? how lucky they are! All my unpainted minis get tossed into a plastic box until i feel like painting humanoids. Only unpainted dragons and big beasties get the honor of a shelf until they're painted

Probably the barge.  It's a lovely piece but it'll require a bunch of time to paint and I don't have an immediate need for it.

Ehyeh ... eh. I'unno. I'm not worried? I mean, I'll get to all of it eventually, right?

I suspect the chibis won't be last, because I have a thing now where I use chibis for standins for people who didn't show up to that session, or who didn't bring a mini. This may backfire, but, eh, I'll get some practice with eyes in the meantime.

big beasties will always be my first to paint.

it'll be a hard choice between dueling dragons, zombie dragon, blacksting or skeletal dragon.

Definitely will get villagers from the darkmere expansion done, as my husbnad can always use those in his games

The duelling dragons are actually one of the few AddOns I didn't pledge for.

I have so many dragons yet to buy and paint, and the two of them are just not as usable for use in game.
