and neither are dragons, in every representation of them i've seen or read =P

 

but each to their own! For me, they're battling over territory  Dance of Death only really has that meaning to me, a fight to the death

Dragons may mate for life, but that's not as permanent as you might think...

Tbh, I think Dance of Death works for both scenarios.

 

The title obviously implies fighting, and the scene works well that way. 

But thinking about it, I wouldn't know how else to picture a dragon courtship. They just have too many claws and teeth to ever look truely tenderly romantic from a human point of view.

 

But great art is always open to interpretation.
