My bride asked what I was doing last night.

Reorganizing my bones miniatures so that when Bones 4 arrives, I'm ready to incorporate it into the collection I replied.

There was a pause...

And she asked a question that maybe she shouldn't have...

"How many minis are you getting?"

...

...

And because I am both honest and foolish I said "A little over 20 400"

You fool! You know very well that Goblin Math is our safety net to keep us protected from casual scrutiny!

It's hard to defend '20' if they see the box, though... avoiding an explosion later with a little truth now is probably wise.

Some of us might even use this as an opportunity to suck people into the hobby vortex.. 'want to help me sort them'?  >.>

^^ This.

I did not mention the size of some of the minis... like the terrain set, or the barge... Actually looking forward to seeing what sort of packaging they make up for the barge. We haven't seen that yet right?

That's why you only introduce 20 at a time. Or tell them that they miscounted. Or blame Buglips. Probably the last one.

I have forestalled any questions related to the size of the Great Big Box of Bones soon [hopefully] to arrive through the cunning device of the LSR*, large enough to serve for both Valentines and SWMBO Birthday, and to make the answer to the question of "How much did you spend?" answerable as "Much less than for your ring."

Thus we have a Happy Life by making sure we have a Happy Wife.

I have found out today that plastic glue does work on Bones Black.

If that’s the case that’s a game changer because plastic glue actually melts the plastic. A little on a toothpick rubbed gently along a mold line is a quick and easy way to remove them.

My friend at the FLGS used some and it actually started melting the plastic. Will check with her tomorrow to see well it set.

I’m trying it right now with my Testors liquid cement for plastic models, polystyrene, and it’s not working.

Mind you while I just unsealed the bottle, it’s not brand new. It’s been sitting in its packaging on my desk for quite a while.

If memory serves, she's using Citadel plastic glue. Not sure if anything else will work.

Plastic glue works by actually melting the polystyrene whatever the brand, though some might be more efficient.

Ive used Citadels in the past but I prefer Testors. I’ve assembled a lot of hard plastic models for my GW and Mantic armies.

I’m just doubtful this is the right kind of plastic to work with it.

I have so far avoided the 'which glue to use' dilemma by the quick expedient of not having glued any of my models together . . . ::D:

Ok, I really do need to change that soon though . . .

Huh.  I wasn't expecting the plastic glue to be able to be used on Bones Black.  In my experience, plastic glue did not work that well on board game materials.

Using Testor's liquid cement is way more enjoyable than using super glue. If Bones Black allows for this, I will forever be a convert.

Okay, I am probably a forever convert anyway...

Next month (probably the 14th) we will launch our latest project called Dragon Masters. Here's a little preview in the form of some of the concept art and renders created.

We will share some more pictures soon!
