Reaper Bones 4: Enthusiasm and Commentary Thread

-runs around screaming in excitement-

Good thing I'm alone in my office at work..

AHEM

So...do we get a shipping tracker like before? Listing the waves and the most recent city listed for shipping? It's so much fun to watch productivity for backers plummet for several weeks.

I'm a little confused. I wish they'd have given a little one sentence update about whatever happened with the stranded container.

But whatever. It's coming!

Hooray, it's gonna be Christmas in April! Even better, an Easter basket gift!

Ooh, UK/EU/AU get first dibs! Lucky them. And I'm guessing Canada is somehow domestic in the order processing?

*NOW* I have a good excuse to order an extra paint caddy. And extra storage room.

I wish Dallas locals could drive to the facility to pick theirs up, but either way I am SO excited to get my minis, even if I have to wait. My birthday is the 31st of March, so I'll call mine a late birthday gift for myself.

I guess I'll be calling mine an early birthday present:) (May 1st). If you are in the US, you can use USPS and use (or sign up if you haven't already) informed delivery and your package SHOULD show up once they print the shipping label, and can track it that way. I get shipping notifications sometimes BEFORE companies even tell me they shipped:)

WHAT?!?! Is this a Christmas miracle??? I know UK/AU fulfillment will take a couple weeks, but is this really happening?? Am I dreaming?? Who is the best pincher around here?

I dont think UK/AU will take a couple weeks.  I was thinking a couple/few days.  Then move on to domestic.

I don't want to be too speculative though because I know the miss dont like it.

Do they work on Saturdays?  Not saying they should I'm just curious.

I hope we get the tracker again.

I think if you have a store account with ReaperMini.com with an email that matches your KS email you will get a notification when your package has postage.

So if it takes a few days to send out UK/AUS etc. There's a chance with the Canuck orders that I'll get stuff within 5 weeks when I go on vacation, and my in-laws may or may not be as well :/

      Andowyn Thrushmoor!
It's been awhile since I've painted a plain ol' character miniature. I spent the better part of today working on her and I’m overall pleased with how she came out. I really want to double my skill level by the time Bones V is delivered and I’m proud of my progress! Slowly but surely figuring out how to do faces, this one looks pretty okay, though her right eye is funky.

Since this is my first form post, the picture is her next to my first miniature! It's about four years old and I keep it around the rest of my collection in a place of honor

If anybody here loves cavern terrain and missed DF's first cavern KS KS2, this spring/summer around June DF will have KS6. The theme of KS6 will be Return to the Caverns and should be great fun for those who took part in KS2 or those who are new to DF.

DF had this to say and showed the below teaser pics

We're doing for Caverns what Dungeon of Doom did for Dungeons. A whole new batch of fun pieces to enhance your existing collection, but also completely stand-alone.

      Some of the key features:
New Core Shapes (diagonal wall, convex curves, 1" pieces, etc)
      Passages
Elevation (with stuff that's impossible on graph paper...)
Negative Space pieces (and new Terrain Trays)
      Flashy Pieces (Magnets & LEDs)
      Large pieces (4x4 and larger)

This looks like a very interesting board game with lots of new, fresh ideas and cool artwork (and nice minis - there is even a pledge level for just the minis: around 15 of them for $20 plus shipping):

      About this project

It's a harsh but lucrative business being a mercenary out on the edge of civilization. You must explore the harsh wilderness and engage in deep tactical combat, where the decisions you make have an impact not only on your own character, but also the world around you.

Gloomhaven is cooperative game of card-driven combat set in a persistent fantasy campaign which will change and grow as you play the game.
There is always more to unlock and explore in the world of Gloomhaven.

If you missed the first Gloomhaven Kickstarter (and retail sold out quickly) here is your chance. I backed that game the first time around and could not be happier with the results. Warning ... that box is heavy ...
