I don't know exactly what I am painting first - but I do know it will be in the Dreadmere set.

I think Megan has claimed Baba Yaga's Dream House - which may mean needing another - I had a dream that I was running a game where the PCs met Baba Yaga in the Appalachians circa 1930... and she had a son, playing the banjo. (And rather well.) She was not the bad guy, she was not a good guy, she was someone that the PCs had to make a deal with....

I think Megan has Hallowe'en plans.

The Auld Grump - her house was in a marsh at the base of a dark valley - running North-South so that the sun only shown for a few hours each day. What she was doing in Kentucky?...? I have always thought of her as the Hungry Winter.

Well crap....   I have been out of pocket...  aaaaand my shipping address was out of date.   ***(facepalm)***    And I'm Wave 1 so although I corrected my shipping address I'm sure it already went out....  Guess I'll need to follow up with Reaper when the dust settles.

I didn't remember that my shipping address was here at the office and the office moved last year.....

Unless you moved outta US, you should still have time. This "Wave 1" is technically a pre-wave as it's only out of NorthAmerica orders so far, the video they posted said they're doing Europe and then Australia, then US where wave numbers would then be proper

Half an hour later and they are still on 2 orders processed.  Hope they aren't having any problems.

Never mind they are back at it

I believe that if you have an account with their online store that has the same email as your KS account then you will receive a notification.  I am not 100% sure about this but it seems like I have seen a few people say that is how it works.

Hmm. My KS email account is different from my Reaper store one. Guess I'll find out.

15-17k is what my math says as well.

Just a guess But I'm thinking  18-19k.. there were 12265 US/Can orders out of the initial 16,200 or  75.7% apply that ratio against orders of ~24,000. (Im gong with that as I saw 23K and change on Saturday  but never saw initial start  number on Friday) and you get    18K. Don't forget the other North and South American countries  like Brazil/Mexico/etc will add a total of 200-300 bringing us closer to 77% or 18.5K Without the exact starting point or additional North/South American its impossible to tell.

Thanks Nomad.  Didn't realize that.  I haven't been following all the buzz like I have in the past.  The new address is the building next door and so still in the US.

A good way to kill the waiting time is to just randomly google all the weird little cities from your country you never knew existed

Don't remember the exact name of the song, but "the geography song" by Arrogant Worms is pretty hilarious, with some good names of cities that actually exist.

Getting shipping notifications has nothing to do with having a Reaper store account. Inside the US, you'll get a shipping notification when they pull you're order sent to the email listed on KS. Make sure that you haven't turned off KS notifications and check spam.

Outside of US, I don't remember when the shipping notifications went out. It may have been once the containers arrived and local postal labels were printed.

I've been checking out the places that pop up on the tracker that I've never heard of on Google Earth and zooming down to the street view level to see what they're like. For instance, Porsgrunn, Norway looks like a rather pleasant place.

My work productivity is way down.

Well, since I just saw Falkirk pop up, try googling "The Kelpies, Falkirk". You won't be disappointed :poke:

Regarding the notification emails, I'm fairly sure I got one for the last kickstarter. The UK hub had just been set up, as I recall.

This is the 22nd project my wife and I have worked side by side together on. Posted tbis on Facebook but first time adding our project to the forums. I hope you like our Interpretation of the KS  Mammoth not sure if the is a SKU for it. C&C more than welcome. Felt with it being a mammoth a more wintery theme should be more in keeping. Enjoy. Stay safe in these troubled times.

I know there are a few folks that do Bolt Action and similar 28mm wargaming (@buglips), so I thought I'd bounce this out there.

      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tftb/world-war-ii-soviet-railroad?ref=discovery_recommendations

      Story
Railroads are an important means to transport troops, equipment, ammunition and all other kinds of supply to the front. Especially in a country as vast as the Soviet Union with it's endless steppes, only few reliable roads and no major rivers running in the direction of the German advance during Operation Barbarossa in World War II.
With this set of detailed buildings and rolling stock in 1/56 scale for 28mm figures you get the opportunity to recreate the crucial fighting around the Soviet railroad system.
The kits focus on the major pieces of rolling stock available to the Soviet defenders: box cars, gondola cars and flat cars. And the mighty ALCo RSD-1 Diesel Engine which was made available under the US Lend-Lease Act.
Also included is a typical rural train station with optional additional platforms for all who want to depict a Soviet - or captured German - supply depot, where heavy equipment like tanks and guns are being unloaded.
And for all of you looking for an armored train - don't worry! We have you covered.
        Talking about railroad tracks:
We did not see the need to reinvent the wheel, so all kits are designed to be used with
4Ground Railroad Tracks (available as add-ons to the Kickstarter) or O Gauge Model Railroad Tracks The kits include optional parts enabling you to choose your favorite system while assembling. Going this route has allowed us to concentrate on designing and producing the rolling stock only, which has the advantage of an earlier fulfillment date for the Kickstarter.
All models are highly detailed on the outside and inside. The interiors are easily accessible, as roofs are removable. In addition, all doors are moveable, which means you can open or close them during gameplay.

A Viking Girl sculpted by Bobby Jackson. She was a lot of fun to paint since she had a lot of canvas for freehand work. She is also my first serious effort at NMM, so that's a well I plan to return to.

I came to paint her when I asked my friends which model needed to get some love next. I presented a wizard, a ranger, and an armored lady fighter. One chimes in that she'd like to see the fighter (she being a practitioner of HEMA). Her boyfriend mentions something about boob armor. I said, no, she's got pretty normal armor. You want to see something egregious? THIS is egregious. My HEMA friend immediately says, "I'd like to change my vote." So here we are.

Here's the WIP thread for her. Here's my next piece.

This has sod all to do with miniatures, but I would be surprised if there were not people who might want one of these pins, for literally any reason at all.
I'll let the campaign speak for itself, as I usually do; it is pins. There are, as the title implies, representations for most of the common faiths, in a literal rainbow of ... well, Pride rainbows.

"You take your game seriously. Now it's time for a serious screen.
In October of 2018, Dog Might released the first fully sculpted GM Screen, the Valhalla Screen. Since then, we have released over 30 more designs, including officially licensed screens for: Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, and Vampire: The Masquerade. We have also designed screens for you favorite shows, such as Relics and Rarities and the Critical Role stream of Undeadwood. Over the last year and a half, our Valhalla Screens have proven to be our most sought after product. "

... Would it surprise anybody here to know I want one?
If I can't have one, at least I can spread the word. ;p
