Reaper Bones 4: Enthusiasm and Commentary Thread

UPS doesn't leave packages on my doorstep. The USPS does <_< UPS will leave a notice and I'll have to pick it up at a designated location.

Ups will leave packages at my front door. So will all of them. Oh well just have to have someone look out for it.

Thought I heard in one of the last live updates that all domestic were going to be pulled at the same time. I could be wrong this is the first time I backed any kickstarter. Reaper is the best. Keep up the good work.

Here's a google sheet that updates some charts every a couple of minutes based on the tracker page at http://forum.reapermini.com/ks/, looking forward to seeing that progress line hit the top (looking forward even more to having a big box of 20 minis at my front door!)

Meanwhile, I live in an apartment complex where just my neighbors, the postal service, and the front desk have a key to my tower. So i get annoyed when the post office leaves it with the front desk instead of in my building's safe stair tower. I work for all of the hours my front desk is open, as does Mr. Mouse, so we have to lose hours (and not bill them) if we have to get a package from them. Also, they don't accept oversized packages... I just hope this one gets put inside, unlike the bed we ordered which got leaned by the front door.

I got one of everything, and 2 of some things, including 2 of the expansions. I feel like that's gonna be a big box.

I’m quite thankful actually that most delivery services do not leave oversized packages in my building’s lobby. We don’t have a doorman or anything and some of my neighbors have had packages stolen or opened, so hopefully this definitey oversized box will not be left unattended! Best case scenarios for me are either I’m home when it’s delivered or I have to go wait an hour or two in line at the post office to attempt to bring it home myself!

No, that 0.1% is the dropbears :poke:

Ooo, I love drop bears.  I had at one time planned to sculpt one.  I even made reference art (excuse my horrible 2D drawing skills).  it never happened though.

I have all of my packages sent to my work, as we have had theft issues in our neighborhood.

The responsible way to handle those theft problems is obviously to order enough Bones that the package is too heavy for the thieves to quickly run away with ...

Is there a way to see your backer number if you were a late pledge, and/or order number? On the pledge manager I see my orders are around the #94000 range but I’m guessing that includes not only Bones 4 orders?

It's my understanding that Reaper will ship by wave sorted by first lock-in date when they get to the US orders.

So for shipping order, neither the order number (which you seem to have) nor the backer number (which can be found on the Kickstarter website by clicking on your pledge level) is useful for determining where you are in line.

For that matter, if you didn't back during the project, I don't think you actually have a backer number, but I could be wrong about that.

How much I'd enjoy a bird's eye view of the warehouse via Twitch cam. Some background lofi hiphop chillax mellow vibe happy flow music set to the bustle of warehouse activity and occasional VIP waves

      Andowyn Thrushmoor!
It's been awhile since I've painted a plain ol' character miniature. I spent the better part of today working on her and I’m overall pleased with how she came out. I really want to double my skill level by the time Bones V is delivered and I’m proud of my progress! Slowly but surely figuring out how to do faces, this one looks pretty okay, though her right eye is funky.

Since this is my first form post, the picture is her next to my first miniature! It's about four years old and I keep it around the rest of my collection in a place of honor

If anybody here loves cavern terrain and missed DF's first cavern KS KS2, this spring/summer around June DF will have KS6. The theme of KS6 will be Return to the Caverns and should be great fun for those who took part in KS2 or those who are new to DF.

DF had this to say and showed the below teaser pics

We're doing for Caverns what Dungeon of Doom did for Dungeons. A whole new batch of fun pieces to enhance your existing collection, but also completely stand-alone.

      Some of the key features:
New Core Shapes (diagonal wall, convex curves, 1" pieces, etc)
      Passages
Elevation (with stuff that's impossible on graph paper...)
Negative Space pieces (and new Terrain Trays)
      Flashy Pieces (Magnets & LEDs)
      Large pieces (4x4 and larger)

This looks like a very interesting board game with lots of new, fresh ideas and cool artwork (and nice minis - there is even a pledge level for just the minis: around 15 of them for $20 plus shipping):

      About this project

It's a harsh but lucrative business being a mercenary out on the edge of civilization. You must explore the harsh wilderness and engage in deep tactical combat, where the decisions you make have an impact not only on your own character, but also the world around you.

Gloomhaven is cooperative game of card-driven combat set in a persistent fantasy campaign which will change and grow as you play the game.
There is always more to unlock and explore in the world of Gloomhaven.

If you missed the first Gloomhaven Kickstarter (and retail sold out quickly) here is your chance. I backed that game the first time around and could not be happier with the results. Warning ... that box is heavy ...
