Reaper Bones 4: Enthusiasm and Commentary Thread

**** Stands at the docks watching the sea, when will they arrive?****

Meanwhile, at another port hundreds of miles away, a ship is tied off at the keeside and massive cranes start lifting big steel boxes full of goods onto waiting trucks.

While Glitterwolf is standing there looking out to sea a laden truck roars by giving a massive blast on its airhorn on the way to the local Distribution Center where smaller lorries await the precious cargo to be trans-shipped to the Postal Authorities for final delivery.

Glitterwolf, still standing at the waters edge, is unaware that a brown cardboard box with red lettering has been deposited on his doorstep.

Finally, exhausted and hungry from his vigil, the discouraged Glittery One slinks home, only to find joy waiting for his return.

Leaping and capering in his extacy the now overjoyed wolf triumphantly carries his box [of 20] filled with miniature examples of the sculptors craft inside.

Too much wish-wash about those AU and US Bones, the most important ones have already left and we need updates!

I think I remember them talking about sending the camera guy from Reaper Live to the warehouse to film a bit in the last Reaper Live. Maybe we'll see additional footage tonight. Can't really imagine them having anything more interesting than talking about fulfillment some more.

Unless they announce the release date for Reapercon Tickets.

So they have now rolled back to wave 1, if that's accurate, this is what happened JUST before they finished UK hub, so another good indicator they MAY be on to the next hub. I love the tracker.

I like the tracker, but can't help but think that the waves listing on it on the non-US sections is largely irrelevant. And if Canada ships before US, I feel a bit guilty for being in "wave 1". Granted, I placed the order while in the US, but still. Someone else could have been in the first US round in my spot.

You know, this MAY explain why we had wave 1,10,11 and 12 (14 was verified by Reaper as the late backers) orders at the END of the hubs, this may have been exception orders such as address changes or (as in your case) Country changes. Just an assumption as there were not that many orders in those waves.

I wouldn't.  It would have affected ONE person (whomever got your spot), and either way, you would have been ahead of them anyway.

Had you not moved, you would have retained that Wave 1 spot, and they wouldn't have it.    And since you moved, even though your stuff will technically ship sooner, chances are you'll still get your stuff AFTER whomever would have been lucky enough to grab your empty spot anyway.

Still took the thrill from whoever had Wave 2 #1 ;)

And yes, due to border crossings to the great north, I'll likely still be waiting a bit longer than the US.

      Andowyn Thrushmoor!
It's been awhile since I've painted a plain ol' character miniature. I spent the better part of today working on her and I’m overall pleased with how she came out. I really want to double my skill level by the time Bones V is delivered and I’m proud of my progress! Slowly but surely figuring out how to do faces, this one looks pretty okay, though her right eye is funky.

Since this is my first form post, the picture is her next to my first miniature! It's about four years old and I keep it around the rest of my collection in a place of honor

If anybody here loves cavern terrain and missed DF's first cavern KS KS2, this spring/summer around June DF will have KS6. The theme of KS6 will be Return to the Caverns and should be great fun for those who took part in KS2 or those who are new to DF.

DF had this to say and showed the below teaser pics

We're doing for Caverns what Dungeon of Doom did for Dungeons. A whole new batch of fun pieces to enhance your existing collection, but also completely stand-alone.

      Some of the key features:
New Core Shapes (diagonal wall, convex curves, 1" pieces, etc)
      Passages
Elevation (with stuff that's impossible on graph paper...)
Negative Space pieces (and new Terrain Trays)
      Flashy Pieces (Magnets & LEDs)
      Large pieces (4x4 and larger)

This looks like a very interesting board game with lots of new, fresh ideas and cool artwork (and nice minis - there is even a pledge level for just the minis: around 15 of them for $20 plus shipping):

      About this project

It's a harsh but lucrative business being a mercenary out on the edge of civilization. You must explore the harsh wilderness and engage in deep tactical combat, where the decisions you make have an impact not only on your own character, but also the world around you.

Gloomhaven is cooperative game of card-driven combat set in a persistent fantasy campaign which will change and grow as you play the game.
There is always more to unlock and explore in the world of Gloomhaven.

If you missed the first Gloomhaven Kickstarter (and retail sold out quickly) here is your chance. I backed that game the first time around and could not be happier with the results. Warning ... that box is heavy ...
