It was not this fast for Bones 3, so I don't really know what is going on.  I would have guessed it was a glitch but now I'm not sure.  We'll find out soon!

Having a distributor *within* Canada is a major improvement. Though I never expected this much of an improvement over regular Reaper orders.

Having the huge shipping container go through customs is probably significantly faster than sending an army of small boxes through.. that's my guess anyway

Commence the F5-ing of UPS!

I keep F5-ing mine even though it won't update until at least NB, if at all before it gets into the province.

In the last video update, they mentioned that they'd have everyone from the 'regular' fulfillment group working KS activities all morning, then back to their regular jobs in the afternoons so as to not disrupt regular operations as heavily as they did in the past.. I think they also said something like 4 days of downtime for the transition across the street?

Yeah Monday is still looking like the day.  I just hope it doesn't get pushed back.

Although if UPS(or USPS) is as fast with US orders as they have been with the Canadian orders I might have my package within an hour or two of it being packed.

130 posts in a week.  Think we can do it?

130 posts? Easy.

130 pages... That's harder... Doable, but harder.

Jealous that my Canadian friends are getting their toys starting today, and I'm not gonna see mine probably for 2 weeks.

I finally broke down and bought them in pewter last month to help hit the $40 mark and get the efreeti miniature.

I have . . . a few of them . . .

I'm super jealous of our Canadian friends, but I'm also super happy for them.

My daughter asks every day how long it will be until the minis arrive.

So instead of "Are we there yet?" it must be "Are they here yet?"

23.1 lbs here.

I think this is the only place where having 23 lbs of minis arriving is considered a restrained order.

Wait, you Canadians are comparing the size of your packages, to see which is bigger?

I told the kids the box was arriving today.  They were very excited as I typically grab "mine" and then let them split the rest.  My son plays with them more than he paints them and my daughter the reverse.  Whatever works.  After homework and facetime with their mom who's in the UK for work, into the box we will go!!

My last Bones package was 27.5 lbs because of the 3 Ma'al Drakars that were in it, yet Bones 4 weighs more at 31.4 lbs. That makes sense, since there's rocs in this one.

Megan is right - we need a squinchy face emoticon. ::P:

The Auld Grump - I just know someone is going to quote Charlie Brown....

Not I.  Have you seen me? I'm huge; it would take a Reaper packer to get me into the box (I swear those people can temporarily make any box into a Tardis).

It is exceedingly rare for Canada to get something before the US (or anyone else), so it is indeed a time to celebrate or be really really jealous.

So, a bunch of Texans put Canada first.  History in the making! ::P:

      Andowyn Thrushmoor!
It's been awhile since I've painted a plain ol' character miniature. I spent the better part of today working on her and I’m overall pleased with how she came out. I really want to double my skill level by the time Bones V is delivered and I’m proud of my progress! Slowly but surely figuring out how to do faces, this one looks pretty okay, though her right eye is funky.

Since this is my first form post, the picture is her next to my first miniature! It's about four years old and I keep it around the rest of my collection in a place of honor

If anybody here loves cavern terrain and missed DF's first cavern KS KS2, this spring/summer around June DF will have KS6. The theme of KS6 will be Return to the Caverns and should be great fun for those who took part in KS2 or those who are new to DF.

DF had this to say and showed the below teaser pics

We're doing for Caverns what Dungeon of Doom did for Dungeons. A whole new batch of fun pieces to enhance your existing collection, but also completely stand-alone.

      Some of the key features:
New Core Shapes (diagonal wall, convex curves, 1" pieces, etc)
      Passages
Elevation (with stuff that's impossible on graph paper...)
Negative Space pieces (and new Terrain Trays)
      Flashy Pieces (Magnets & LEDs)
      Large pieces (4x4 and larger)

This looks like a very interesting board game with lots of new, fresh ideas and cool artwork (and nice minis - there is even a pledge level for just the minis: around 15 of them for $20 plus shipping):

      About this project

If you missed the first Gloomhaven Kickstarter (and retail sold out quickly) here is your chance. I backed that game the first time around and could not be happier with the results. Warning ... that box is heavy ...
