Random data point that I found interesting: Comparing the 1100 hour on third day on Bones 4 to the 1100 hour on third day for Bones 3 (despite not being apples to apples) - 
Bones 3 Day 3 at 1100 - Total Gain in Last 24 Hours: $66,134 
Bones 4 Day 3 at 1100 - Total Gain in Last 24 Hours: $98,621

 

Please note that this is on data point and is not a good indicator of any predictions.

The first day of Bones 4 (according to Kicktraq) was significantly lower than Bones 3, but Bones 4 had a not-insignificant edge on Kicktraq's Day 2. Would be interested to see how this played out hour-by-hour...

Thank you, Reaperbryan!  I knew I associated the name Justin with him for some reason, and I was starting to think maybe I was crazy....well a little more crazy than normal!

Certainly with Bones 4 one of our aims is to diversify into newer things, thus many of the teasers, while also broadening the base of the popular things - more kinds of goblins, demons, kobolds, etc.

 

Insights like this are always very interesting to me.  And I assume others.  I appreciate these sort of tidbits Bryan.

I'd probably get in trouble if I tried to make that whole thing the title of a ReaperCon entry, wouldn't I.

Even though it's kinda sad we will probably not get to see every single crazy thing we come up with, it's kinda understandable that Cat dragons and Gazebos would probably not be something someone buys unless he/she is already pretty deep in the miniature hobby.

 

Would be interesting to know if/how much plans from other companies (like WotC) influence Reaper's decision making. Them going to a more tropical/prehistoric place with their next adventure will probably increase the potential sales for Dinos.
