Armchair quarterbacking here, but they should have just started shipping in the larger warehouse.  I can see stopping for a day to regroup and change from international to domestic, but a week long silence does leave a bad taste in my mouth regarding shipping waves.  I was ok with splitting the employee load to allow them to still do their normal operations as it made sense, but it just feels to me like they didn't think the interim week through as well as they should have.  I guess it's a learning experience for Reaper and the backers.  In the end, it's just a week but it still is frustrating waiting and knowing nothing is or has been going out in the US yet.

It's been suggested that they didn't have the lease on the new warehouse until April 1. But they needed to at least get the European orders shipped before that, to minimize the chances of Brexit problems. And if they'd waited on Australia and Canada, it would just be that much longer of a wait for U.S. But, it is frustrating that people that are Wave 14 and just a little north of us are getting their stuff before Wave 1 people who locked in the first day the pledge manager was open. I suspect that Canada won't be included in the waves next time, if they're going to ship it this way, again.

My thoughts exactly.

Not saying what they should, or should not have done here, just wondering aloud.

I wonder if it would have been more or less economical to have rented the larger space for the extra month and set up shop there from the beginning.

I guess the calculus is between that and the cost to tear down and move mid-fulfillment.

Given the owners' accounting background I trust that this way was planned to be more economical, I just wonder if it turned out that way in practice.

"So, dont make the same mistakes i did.

Assemble the arms of the skeletons of the pillars first.
Put the 3 main pieces together.
Add the support for the deck and then the deck.
Then the rails and then the pillars.
I didnt glue the top because i want it to be removable

The rest is pretty self explanatory :P"

Now the trick is going to be subtly incorporating a 1" x 1" grid into the paint job for that barge so that I can use it in Pathfinder games...

Hmm... I wonder if I could just make a clear plastic overlay sheet for each section, so that the grid can work better on those spines and stuff. It'd also protect the paint job from miniature bases a bit, too...

Im in Toronto and got stuff for myself and another friend, but to save on shipping, we shipped it to the CBI warehouse in buffalo (another friend rents out space there) so canadians can use it as a shipping address in usa for lower costs. But now, im thinking with us splitting the shipping anyways, i'd kinda rather have it a month or so early, instead of, i think it was, $60 or so cheaper...

sigh

Blood stains, grease stains, scrapes, dings, mugs, knives, pipes, small birds, mice, footprints, and other tiny details all placed at the grid points.

Has anyone compiled heights of the various big items? Mumlak, argent, gauth, barge (height and length would be awesome), snake, trex, treebeard, etc?

I'm trying to plan out where to store them
