Here's a good example of some of the odd piecework. This is the Dragon Turtle's base:

The base has a bit of warpage so there are some spaces, but it went together fairly well.

Here's another side:

It's a wonderfully cluttered piece of underwater terrain.

And here is the exploded view:

Many pieces. And in the top right, there's actually a piece that mounts on another piece before joining the base.

I have no idea what this guy is supposed to be. From a glance at the concept art, I thought it was a peryton, but the body looks closer to a leucrotta. Maybe some sort of hybrid, or something I've never come across, or a wholly new creation. In any case, it's a great looking mini, lots of rp possibilites with forest spirits etc.:

I posted two very similar shots because the first one shows off details, but the second is better for scale.

Guess I can quit waiting to see that one in metal.. its way bigger than I guessed it would be

Can we get a pic of the turtle without the pack on? By an earlier comment it sounded like not all of the pack was removable . . .

The pack turtle isn't connected to that base, that's for the dragon turtle. But here's the pack turtle disassembled:

Another odd choice. The turtle's body is separate from his shell, but it was pre-assembled, unlike the other parts.

So the troll ettin hands are NOT attached to the pig and rock? The hands are actually separate?

There are two sets of hands. One for each throwing item.

Both hand sets have tabs in the palms to fit in the items, and the items have corresponding slots and even palm prints that should be a snug fit, but because of natural warpage, or excess material, I only had one hand that fitted properly.

It'll take some fine work to fix.

Curiously, my Bones 4 rock troll, identical to the Bones Black February model, does not have the enormous shoulder gap. Easily fillable.
