completed Reaper Bones 4: Enthusiasm and Commentary Thread

My wife and I are on other sides of the argument. I want to get my bones as soon as possible! She wants to get them as soon as possible provided it's after she finishes her projects for class, so sometime next week. I tell her, your half can wait for you to have time to play with them... she says she'll play with them regardless so it'd be better if they didn't make her procrastinate her work.

 

I don't think I'm being very compelling.

I am really regretting not getting the Lost Valley expansion. But I am not regretting getting TWO Darkreaches. 

 

Also, I should have gotten more giants, and another Blacktooth. I haven't even gotten my minis and I already want more! 

 

Edit: Oh hey, has anyone gotten the Spartans/Amazons? How big are the plinths they stand on?

Happened be watching the SleepyWhatsIt review and he got them.  Here is a capture from that on a 1" grid.

I was disappointed that they didn't have any simple, 1"/25mm bases. 30mm bases are a bit too large for my Pathfinder needs, sadly. Otherwise, I'd be all over those for some variety.

I don't think so either, but I still think it's not a great look. It's like someone said - Reaper always seems to trip at the finish. Now's the time you really want great communication, and I'm not feeling it. I don't have the time to keep up with Reaper's Reaper Live videos, which mostly just feel tedious when I have watched them, and the lack of updates is disappointing.

I heard that the inserts are 24-25mm, so could be used without the lipped black base.

Don't F5 the tracker - it auto refreshes. We don't want to accidentally DDOS reaper.

As stated by others, the lack of social media presence at this point in the game is really noticeable.  The delays and issues don't bother me as much as the lack of updates, commentary, and responses does.

While we enjoy the April freezing rain () on PD day home with the kids, we decided to pull out the new stuff and start assembling so that we can better split the loot.  My daughter is really getting into it!!  

 

 

 

She has claimed the pig (I want the cart...) and it’s apparwntly going to be painted up as a zombie pig.    We’ve only assembled about 1/4 of the main box, but if anyone is looking for pictures of anything, let me know and we’ll see what we can do.
