Thing is, while the Reaper one is nice (of course I have one coming), base size he's bigger then standard 5e games vs the Wizkids ones. I don't have the Wizkids one (mainly due to run many dino encounters)  but that is one thing. Kinda like Treemoss vs the Wizkids treant & Treemoss is one of my favorite biggies errr minis in this KS!!

The other thing (for me) is this T-Rex is in a pose NOT conducive to the diorama I had in mind, which wizkids does. Don't get me I like this T-rex and the triceratops, but they'll now be used in a different project, not primeval world. Also need one of the old reaper pre-paints now:)

Gotta say, the t-rex is one that did not impress me. The back doesn't fit well into its socket. It will take a lot of greenstuff. The triceratops however is AMAZING. Seriously, triceratops is amazing and holds up as a solid model versus Dark Sword's resin one. 

 

I airbrush primed my Skeletal Monsters. I am still bad at airbrushing. Good thing I have lots of practice material! 

Get yourself stynylrez from Badger, it is really forgiving on priming!

So I am shadow-coloring the skeletal monsters with a purple-brown. It smells like grape. My snot is glazed purple. I should probably get a mask.

Also, this is a ceratopsian, but it is NOT a Triceratops (Frill and cheek spikes give it away). Couldn't identify this specific one, so I'm assuming it's a unique ceratopsian made for Reaper.

 

It is a THUNDERHOOF!

A new species discovered by Reaper's Archeologists.

And I'm getting three so I can repopulate the Earth with them, I'm sure Johhny, Frank and Bill will do great!

The UK now apparently has a "Brexit flextension " until 31 October. If we don't take part in the elections for the thing we are leaving we have to leave the thing on 1 June without amy arrangements for moving things from the UK to the thing. If we ratify the previous deal to leave the thing then we have to leave the thing but then there will be customs arrangements with the thing making it clear that there are no costs for moving things from the UK to the thing. 

 

So more chance for people to get their Kickstarters which may well have been at the forefront of Theresa May's mind.

I want my Bones :(  

 

I am getting stroppy, i don't know why, i cannot paint at the moment till our house has been decorated...currently living in one room of our new house, but when it is done....i will have my own paint and hobby and snake room (it is the same room) :D I am most excited, can go buy my desk and set it up, get a load of shelving....and just.... ENJOY! muhahahaha :D

Pet snakes?

Cool!

 

Make sure they're not exposed to chemical fumes due to glue/thinner/ spray paint and such.

 

I'm kinda jealous, I always need to set up and break down my painting stuff on the dinner or garden table.

No permanent spot yet ( the vixens need to leave the nest first or we need to move if I want that, sometime in the future, I hope)

Ohhhh, i would paint anywhere but i hate setting up all the time, and then packing away when i am done...i just want somewhere i can keep it all out for easier to go and just start.

 

I am so excited for my bones :) i have plenty of reaper stuff, and well lots of stuff....but somehow i just wanna paint Darkreach/Dreadmere, Dance with Dragons, Argent.... so many shinies :D 

 

I glue elsewhere in the house, i also don't have an airbrush for that reason, and i have very good air circulation in that room, open windows when i paint etc. 

 

I am protective of my babies, but they have always been around my painting, previously their tanks were on my paint desk :D if you look for my painting of "dragons dont share" I think in one picture you see my baby boy Kas - Ghost Corn :) 

 

i think they are looking forward to seeing my bones 4 minis around the room :D 

 

My kittens are looking forward to the box. "if i fits i sits"  They are currently obsessed with our laundry basket....and are happy to be carried in that :| Bengals are weird, one pure and one crossed with a british long hair (the cross is just as mental) a long haired Bengal is very interesting :D

I'm glad we're seeing shipping notifications rolling out to the US crowd.

 

I'm also glad that the Brexit delay came through and I can now be impatient for impatience sake, not because there  is money on the line.

Still hoping to hear when the ship is expected in GB though. A question about that on fb got answered by Matthew Clark, but he just said that there are more factors at play, because we're not just waiting for the ship to arrive, but also for the UK team to unload and ship them. 

Which ... makes sense, but the main hold up is still them waiting for a ship, and it would be great to know if it'll arrive in a few days or mid may.

I would have loved to get the T. rex and trike, but they were on the low priority list. 

 

I'm planning on painting my cobra as a malachite statue. I'm certain hubby can do something devilish with that  I'm thinking I'll get some little gemstones for the eyes too. That would be wicked cool!
