From last week's update:

Awesome!

That will go a lot faster then!

I wonder I  I will get my bones before the 2nd of May. ( I'll be on a cityrip then and the Vixens will accept them then ) or after I get back?

I'm hoping for before then ^^ But maybe the container gets inspected by customs?

Anyhow, good to have an update, I feared it would take two more weeks at least.

Customs might inspect it, but that will be over quick when the first officer is eaten by Argent.

But that leaves a bloody mess soaking through the cardboard boxes.

Better pull back the agents of W.O.O.F. no longer needed in Brussels and have them guard the containers.

Ok quick inventory and it appears Mossman miss the ride to Pflugerville. Oh well I can wait till they send me a replacement.  But hey I got all 24 paints and every other box and bag.

Strangely Mossbeard was also missing from my box. I plan to email them after I go through each set. I don't expect them to ship replacements before shipping is complete.

Went through our goodies tonight.  Even the awesome wife sat down and dug through it all.

I'm a little jealous. My husband's interest level was only enough to see what type of mini was in each bag. He's painted a little bit, but I'm still trying to get him more into it.

I haven't opened up the sets yet. I plan to start going through things more thoroughly today. My table isn't big enough!

 I feel a touch of regret getting the Hut now. I want everyone to be able to revel in the lovely chicken-legged goodness with me!

As penance, upon its arrival I shall determine what is required to remove the legs from the hut. FOR SCIENCE!

...Well, I was probably gonna do that anyways, but now I'm gonna try really hard to make it happen. Mythbusters style if necessary! AKA if all normal attempts have failed, add more explosives and try again*!

*Note: no actual explosives will be used in any attempt. I know, I'm boring like that.

Huzzah!

I will just use a small hacksaw and cut those off.

I need a Necromancer/Vampire Mansion not a walking cabin.

I definetly want the legs in a drawer somewhere, Baba Yaga and her hut would make for an awesome encounter.

But that's it: I don't really plan on doing that one, really cool out of the box encounter with a hut walking about all that often. It's just too niche. Having them detachable really helps giving the hut more versatility.

I also hope someone will be able to get the roof off.

It may very well have changed in the intervening months, but I know there was originally no plan to have any sort of inside to the thing (i.e. all pretty much one solid piece other than the legs).

Can anyone who has theirs confirm? Does it looks like there's a seam under the roof, or is it solid?

While I don't have one personally, I have seen some Canadians here report that it's pretty much a solid piece.

Interestingly, at a live Live Bones 4 Kickstarter Event in August 2017, they  said the plan was to make it open inside, and the roof and legs removable.  (There's a video on youtube you can find of the session that I linked to some 50-75 pages ago) where Ron jokes he wants one on his desk to keep his keys in...   Apparently those plans changed.

(Edit:  Actually, a quick search for the word "video" on this thread, turned up my post.  Here it is if anyone is interested in hearing the original plans for the hut: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/75913-reaper-bones-4-enthusiasm-and-commentary-thread/&do=findComment&comment=1814494 )

I always thought Baba Yaga's hut was an inter-dimensional space, so having it open up wasn't really 'realistic' from a play perspective - the DM'd need to replace it with a different set of terrain when they went inside anyway..

A swarm of Argents have been known to pick customs agents clean in under 3 seconds... they better watch it!

Don't. One person getting it or not wouldn't have made that big of a deal. They're getting more soon, we'll all get our chicken huts!

Baba Yaga is an insane Time Lord and the hut is her tardis.
