you can try saws.....or... you could try doing the same as the assembly only in reverse, and heat the thing up before pulling the legs out.

Just boil a large pan of water, take it off the heat, dump the thing in and leave a few minutes before taking it out and pulling.

Should not be too difficult when it's all soft and rubbery.

This assumes they did not use glue when asssembling. why waste money on glue when cooling down does the trick?

I'm pretty sure I saw glue around the join in several photos.

They said in the livestream yesterday that the legs were heat treated and glued in place, and the recommendation was to cut and add pins if you wanted them to be removeable in the future.

Kind of disappointed the hut doesn't open up, and the legs don't come off, as that was a selling point.

Im bouncing off the walls. My package was sent out for delivery 4 hours ago.... and Im 4.7n Miles from UPS center. I know they take the LONGGGGGG circuitous route but do they trucks stay out for 8 or more hours in the same drive?????

FWIW you can sign up for an account and get a smaller 4 HR window.... Between Now and 3:45 Ill be 400 Bones richer

The answer is yes, they do.

Time spend reloading a truck is money lost - they pack those puppies up, then send them out for the day, if they can.

I used to live just a few blocks from UPS - on the return trip, so would get my stuff at the very tag end of the day.

For the record - the local UPS is very good at their jobs, and went out of their way to be accommodating on multiple occasions.

Since moving to Westbrook we have been having our packages held at UP for pickup - I work less than a mile from the UPS pickup point.

Which means I will be able to pick up and open the Bones before Megan even knows they are here! Mwa ha ha ha ha! The snakemen will be mine!*

*Joking, she laid claim to them, they are hers. ::): But I do plan to borrow them for the kids game... something is slithering under Freeport.

Cooking generally makes it easier to pull the drumsticks off the chicken. ::):

The Auld Grump - one of the secrets of a happy marriage - I like the dark meat and she likes the breast meat. The chicken is the only loser.

 I feel a touch of regret getting the Hut now. I want everyone to be able to revel in the lovely chicken-legged goodness with me!

As penance, upon its arrival I shall determine what is required to remove the legs from the hut. FOR SCIENCE!

...Well, I was probably gonna do that anyways, but now I'm gonna try really hard to make it happen. Mythbusters style if necessary! AKA if all normal attempts have failed, add more explosives and try again*!

*Note: no actual explosives will be used in any attempt. I know, I'm boring like that.

Huzzah!

--OneBoot :D

At some point, not long after we get Baba's Chicken Hut, I will be pulling out Campaign Cartographer and making a floorplan for it.

If it comes out well I will post it somewhere.

Just out of curiosity I went and looked... AND I HAVE A SHIPPING LABEL!  Woohoo!  Only 16.6 lbs.  Think I've got one of the smaller ones so far.. Oh, and I finalized on 9/11, no idea what time.

Our bones are moving! UPS is updating. Looks like those of you who thought the truck hadn't arrived were right.

Still haven't gotten any notification from Reaper though. Nothing in email, nothing on the pledge manager. Man! You'd think once Bryan left his code would be safe but no, I keep finding new ways to break it even after he's gone...
