I will probably pick up every fantasy related thing. I am trying to change my D&D minis hoard over to painted Bones. Which means ill I'll be in for the core no matter. I do have many many PC models but it always seems like each one is not quite right for a particular character so I like choice. Also finding that very standard characters are good to have painted up for when people show up to games without a mini. So I'm ok with more PC types. For sci-fi stuff my husband has to be interested. He is getting into Starfinder and thinking about running things for the Starfinder society, so he may be more interested than he has been in the past. (Which gives me an idea... who wouldn't want a Bones xenomorph?) Otherwise what really excites me are terrain items, small sized player characters in non traditional character classes, and monsters. I have not had to add much (and none in Bones 1 & 2) to the pledge manager. This may not be the case this time. I can probably only spend $200. Husband hasn't liked how the bank account has been looking and since I am studying for a major exam, I can't pick up extra shifts at the moment. So I will have to live with what I can pledge for right now. With this KS ending exactly on my Birthday, I think I'll have $500 to pledge for it. So I pledged it all now.

For me the luster of Kickstarter has worn fairly thin, there's going to need to be something truly exceptional in the lineup this time around for me to part with my pennies

"OMG! IT COMES WITH THAT MANY GOBLINS! GET IT! GET IT! WHAT? YOU WEREN'T GOING TO GET THOSE ADORABLE DICE? I WANT THE ADORABLE DICE! GET THE ADORABLE DICE!" My current partner (of 8 years) backed Bones 3 for Ma'al so when I jumped on the Core Set she said she'll be handing me money for add-ons she wants. Nothing's struck her fancy yet but then she's at work and Not Allowed to look so we'll see...
Lord of the Dish Pit
I planned on getting in on this, however it won't be until certain bank issues are delt with. The revised plan is to pledge a dollar and cherry pick. Definitely getting the baba yaga hut, but I haven't checked out the KS page yet so it's hard to say past that.

I am not at all sorry that I backed Bones 1, 2, and 3, but the fact of the matter is that playing with all that fantasy revived my interest in my vintage fantasy figures, so I'm not using that many Bones right now. I have a dollar in to get the updates, but I'll be looking for scenery this time around. The announced Chronoscope set looks somewhat interesting. My upper target is under $200; I'm definitely feeling pretty saturated at the moment.

I still have a moratorium on any minis purchases and already have way too many unpainted minis as it is.

I am currently not planning on getting the core set (I have many 20s of PC/adventurer types already). Depending on what is available, I intend to focus on terrain/scenery and big things that would be impossible and/or prohibitively expensive in metal. Will that plan survive first contact with the enemy? We shall see... Nope, not at all.
TGP
7 hours ago, Dr.Bedlam said: Yes. You will have to PAY for the core set, but I do hope that's not much of a surprise. I figured if I could add it it would need paying for... When I finally managed to login to KS the first wave core pledge slots were gone. The wording on the one dollar pledge slots made it sound sorta like it was only for the smaller add ons...IDK #notbeenpayingcloseattention Edited August 2, 2017 by TGP

I've said elsewhere I need to rebuild a mini collection that I lost in the divorce (not really a divorce, we weren't actually married, but it's the same idea). I can always get big things later but I need most a fistful of smaller minis I can use as characters, mooks, dudes, etc. Been there... So far I'm holding steady at my initial $200 pledge. Feeling good... I can do it. What do you mean it hadn't even been a full 24 hours yet?!?

I backed late yesterday with a low pledge. Because we're moving this month, and that costs a ridiculous amount of money, I'm going to have to stick with a very low pledge and hope the pledge manager works the way it did last year.
