8/2 There are lots of OOP minis I'd love. I really wish I'd gotten all the Guthrie Personalities when they were available through Mega Minis. The molds have since disappeared in the Center Stage Minis fiasco.

8/3 Converting the Bones Minotaur so the head is higher, and adding mail. Still in progress because I can't get it right.

N/A.  I have neither performed conversion nor sculpting, at least deliberately.  The closest I've gotten is using green stuff to fill gaps and a couple bases.  I may do conversion work eventually but I'm still working on making sure I can paint to (advanced?) tabletop quality.

I created this altar from foam.

Used Toy Snakes for this, sculpted a little stone works on the white one. Tanith's Altar

(Sorry for the late post again; moderating the Bones KS Threads is taking more time before work each day than anticipated)

This is the first and only time (so far) that I have ever used Green Stuff, making flames over a skeletal hand thingy:

I've never actually attempted a conversion or sculpting project. Not sure if I plan on doing any in the near future either.

I've replaced a few broken/missing weapons over the years, that's about as complicated as it gets.

Hey! I totally spaced off that miniature part! (ReaperCon games brainstorming)

Thanks!!

Awesome start, thou at first I thought it was a beginnings of a beholder. ::):

As for me, I don't do much converting but my most successful conversion was making a reefclaw (Pathfinder aquatic creature) using a moray eel familiar & 2 crab claws. Facebook links

Final conversion (before paint)

Thought I uploaded a painted pic but I guess not.

`I can't say I've done much with that side of the hobby. Normally I purchase something because I like how it looks, not because I plan to convert it into something else, so I've had very little reason to get into conversions.

A Skorne Titan Gladiator. The tiny second set of arms are cast into the lower torso piece so when I took them off I had to sculpt in the entire sides of the elephant. Then since I'd already gone that far I converted all my Titans into elephants with trunks. Because I was feeling far too literal that day and now I have an army theme to keep.

When I get a Cannoneer I'll convert it so the lit torch is being held in its trunk.

Sorry - I haven't done anything that I would consider a conversion/sculpting project.

August 3: Everything Mordheim. I wish I'd gotten the witch hunters and sisters of sigmar before they went out of print. Also the original strange faced Nagash. Unaffordable both then and now.

August 4: I've done a few weapon swaps, no sculpting yet. I have a few things on my shelf that I aim to convert/add greenstuff to, but I'm holding off for now until I can reduce the Shelf of Impatient Minis Nagging Me To Paint Them.

(I needed to have a go at shooting more pictures anyway.)

It has to be this guy:

I need to find a way to reinforce the wings... ...nothing holding them but glue.

So I created a mirror for my one and only Gen Con entry ever. There is some suggestion of nudity so it's hosted on Photobucket. (I forgot I had one of those accounts)

The figure has since come loose from her base. I will try to take a photo of the mirror tomorrow so I can post it here directly.

I didn't understand how to handle greenstuff when I made this piece. I tried to cut it and deal with it like clay or plastilina. It's not. I think I have a better idea how to use it. Now I just need a fresh supply of green stuff. But not until after August 24th.

Yh... well. There's this thing I'm doing out of a lack of hooved tiefling... this has so far involved parts from ... three different miniatures and rather a lot of greenstuff... here's one, before I started on horns.

Tiefling.jpg.46b330146d29e1d9851744245737589a.jpg

Horns came a little after, and one of them appears to have escaped, I need to find it and re-attach it. I filled in some holes in the shield, and did some other stuff... like the tail you can't see in either image.
