Is "pop" a brand name or a type of figure?

Anyone else think the big all-black eyes are kind of weird?

It’s Funko Pop! Vinyl, they have a few different lines, their main one has the creepy black button eyes. My favorite line is the bombshell figurines. But Bob Ross doesn’t come as a bombshell

Yes.

I was at the eye doctor earlier today.

My eyes looked like that for quite a while after my pupils were dilated.

I bought Celestine, the Living Saint.

I don't even play 40k, nor is there any nearby location to do so ever since the local mall closed down...

Seriously thinking about getting a Sydonian Dragoon and an Armiger Warglaive too.

Did you get the new GW Celestine? She is okay, I think. She was a bit of a pain to assemble, but looks quite decent.

I hope to get my hands on Wargame Exclusives Sister Saint Celestia.

Yeah, got the new version. Went together super easily for me, though I was using plastic cement instead of superglue. Half of it was scale reference so my termie wouldn't look ridiculous next to them, half of it was because... well, Sisters. First of the new line of plastic sisters, and likely to be one, if not the centerpiece of any Sisters collection I make.

Armiger will probably wait until the separate box drops, I've been thinking about converting it to a Sisters Armiger...

Game stop had a 50% off one collectible with purchase of a game (or something, I wasn't paying a lot of attention). So I got a Bob Ross pop! The last one they had, in fact. He's at my painting desk, so he can watch me paint ^_^

His pitiless, uncompromising stare watches over my painting table to make sure I keep hobbying, too. ^_^

I gots me a new toy!  My brother convinced me to buy a DJI Spark, it's a little adventure drone.  Heavy enough to have a great set of features and controls but small enough to fit in my work backpack.  Price tag wasn't too bad and it has all the little support extras for a newb to keep it in the air.

Of course I get it home and discover that there is a temporary no fly zone over my area for the weekend so the sudden steep learning curve of applying for flight exemptions was interesting.  As was the instructions for bios upgrades.  They 'recommended upgrading the bios.  What they neglected to mention in either the recommendation or the instructions was that the drone won't fly without the update.  It will start and spin up but won't leave the ground and won't tell you why.

Once updates though, it's a blast.  I was touring the house with it as soon as I launched it.  It has really good prox sensors to keep it from running into anything, at least until someone opened a door into it .  It's also robust enough to fall out of the air onto concrete without damage.

I don't know about the sisters of battle but I did have to pick up the new eldar Ynnari leaders.  Quite the stunning pieces but a bit of a bother to assemble.  Now I just need to find the time to paint them... and play....

I considered the DJI Sparc when I bought my drone last year, but eventually went for the DJI Mavic Pro instead.

Double the flighttime was a good selling point. It also folds down to a more compact unit than the Spark. Only cons is that it's heavier and much more expensive. (It can also hande slightly more adverse wind than the Spark)

Great fun to fly.

Remember to read up on all local laws for flying it.

Don't fly directly over people, stay away from accidents, keep visual control at all times. (In most countries, you either need to be on a closed area or have a spotter if you want to fly FPV )

Did you get the basic kit, or the FlyMore package?

You may want to get a 'stick guard' for the remote.

I got the fly more package.  Its a pretty great starter package.  I got to learn about no fly zones a little faster than planned.  Louisville has their thunder over Louisville air show today so I brought the probe home and discovered that I was grounded until I registered the drone, got the latest updates and signed up for a flight pass which restricts me to 120 feet ceiling.  Normally, local laws are pretty lax on both sides:  I can do most basic flight stuff with the drone as long as I stay out of restricted airspace but if someone gets aggravated at it and swats it out of the sky, I dont have much legal recourse either (another reason for the lower cost drone).

I wound up with the Sparc because my brother had one when we were in Costa Rica together.  easy to fly.  Dead easy to operate and the follow and selfie modes were very cool.  We went on a nature walk and he was able to set the drone to follow his phone while we walked and got a third person perspective of the 10 minute tour, including zipping around the waterfall at the end of the hike.

I'm not the type to gawk at accidents or get in people's way, although it has already proven useful (replacing a ladder) for checking gutters without killing myself.  Did take it to the church picnic to take pictures and let people have fun with it.

Eventually, i will probably get a box like my brother got which has the stick guards built into the box.  Looking forward to playing wth some of the fancy follow and auto modes.  overall 5/5 for fun 3/5 for instructions. ('Drone is locked' is NOT a useful description for the drone needs a software update)

Lost of beautiful pieces, but that stag and other animals really caught my eye.

Those animals are all pretty much still available from Iron Wind Metals...

I guess it’s a crypt of some sort. It “contains lead” and is also trying to escape. These two facts may or may not be unrelated.
