Unfortunately, he's set up some sort of rule about just one 10pack every 10 days... I only get 4 photos onto each roll with my ONDURama 6x17 Panoramic camera... A lot of what was really expensive cameras before can be had for nearly nothing now because they're 'oldfashioned'... I have to admit I am both surprised and pleased with the wizdice. each bag had 20 different sets of 7 dice in each bag and my wife said she paid less than $1.50 a set. They are pretty nice dice. No aurora or bicolors but plenty of pearl, clear, sparkle and solid, all well marked and very easy to read. as they are destined for my common supply of dice they make a very nice addition to the stash. and each set comes with a sizable dice bag to boot The pound of chessex was, well, a pound of random dice. around 100 dice with no sets among them and a lot of duplicates. Processing B/W film yourself is easy. Colour is a different matter, though. (You have a few more chemicals, which all needs to be within 0.5degrees of each other, and you need to be very accurate about the timing. So I stick to B/W for now) If anyone wants to try I would suggest that they do NOT buy the typical 'starter' developer tank that holds one spool. Get a Paterson system tank that holds 3, if possible. And several spare spools. (I have over a dozen spools) Each spool holds one roll of film, and after use it needs to be dried before you can use it again. That takes time, and you're bound to miss a drop... It's elfed difficult to get the film onto a wet spool... I can load my tank 4 times with 3x 135 films, or 6 times with 2x 120 films before running out of dry spools. And by that time the developer is also 'used up' and I'm fed up... The other item that is needed is a 'darkroom bag'. It looks like a long-sleeved sweater or jacket without an opening for the head. (bag with two arms that's made of a lightproof material. You open the zipper in the bottom, stuff the tank, spools, exposed films and scissors in the bag, close the zipper, stick your arms in through the long sleeves, and well... transfer the film to the spools, place them in the tank, and close it. ) Getting a film into a tank takes maybe 5 minutes when you start to get the hang of it. I mainly say that because I'd have to send it off to "The Lab" in Vancouver for most of what I want (conveniently, the shop I get my main camera gear from ships their slide film to them same with medium format if I remember correctly)... And I want an SLR, specifically the Canon A1. I could get one in fairly good shape from a local shop, but that's $225 CAD and only includes a single 50mm lens, and not the 35mm I prefer to work with. Sure, I could ebay it, but... Ah unno, I don't want to get something in that I then have to spend a while repairing. The other issue is given the resurgent use of vintage lenses for cinematography, prices aren't as low as they used to be. They really need to do packaging better. But, moss, a tiny Trex bust, and Captain Canada arrived! Captain Canada is going to get mapled up. Oh yeah.
