The US just needs to switch over to metric already and be done with it, honestly. Also, airbrush makers should probably have a sit-down and agree to a standard air hose connection size. My understanding is that Iwata, Badger, and Paasche all have a different size for the connection of airbrush to hose, which is why you have to buy their specific quick connect adapters. Once you have a quick connect on, though, it works in every quick connect because those are a standard size...

As a person who owns a Paasche airbrush, a Harbor Freight cheapie airbrush, a Badger airbrush & a Testor's Compressor. I know this all too well. Currently I have just the Passche connected but it's on a braided Paasche hose with an adapter for the compressor. I only use the HF one for clearcoats & the Badger I got at ReaperCon last year. I'm gonna get a coiled hose for that one. (Hey, maybe I'll do that this week!!!) Eventually I wanna get a multi-port manifold & then I'll be able to hook all 3 up. I could get the quick disconnect but for me the manifold would work just fine.

Acquisitions or soon to be mine stuff!!

Noble Knight:

Reaper

Anhurian spearmen (3): Totally spaced an encounter in one of the RCon adventures........

Shadoweyes, Catfolk Rogue: She will be a Tabaxi pregen in one of my RCon games

1 inch bases. I really should buy these in the Bones 4 kickstarter ha ha

Army Painter: Witch's Brew

Paizo

Nok Nok, goblin card set. Pathfinder Card game promo. Free RPG Day item. I didn't have enough people with me to get this one but hey for a copper Lincoln, I'll take it!

ebay
Ogre Executioner prepainted DDM. He is perfect for what I'll use him for but I'm still debating on using one of the Reaper Pathfinder Ogres. We shall see.

3d printed longboats. Not as detailed as the Russian based resin I was wanting, but the price & shipping time is perfect for me.

2x Rogan Bones: Needed to finish off my half-orc thug encounter.

Bombshell Babes: Glacia the Winter Witch. Replaces a Reaper mini that the arm piece is too far damage for me to use. I'll have to get anther out of the Boneyard this year.

Army Painter: Skeleton Bone, Royal Cloak

Reaper Bones Paint: Glacier Blue

Acquired over the last week or so -

P3 1.9mm pinning set, bought almost entirely for the drill bit which I then realized I didn't need as I found my 2mm drill bit in the same place as my 2mm magnets...

Woodland Scenics Foliage and Grasses box.

Warlord Games Stone Walls box.

A cheap tackle box to store my basing and pinning materials in.

A "brush washer" thing with a coiled wire at the top that's really just going to be used as a drying rack since I'll be able to keep the brushes point down and hopefully it will keep my brushes from splitting. Because every time I've tried to paint in the past my brushes have all ended up splitting at the tip after just a few painting sessions despite being thoroughly cleaned and conditioned with proper brush soaps every time I've used them...

And Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes.

This is odd.  If your brushes are that poorly made, have you looked into getting them replaced?

I've tried this a couple times, once at Hobby Lobby and once with Reaper.  Both were fine with it.

\.

Wish my pinning needs were that easy.  most of the things I want to pin are smaller than 2mm in diameter.  I have a 0.9 mm I use with brass wire and a 0.5 mm I use with cut up hemming pins for strength.  the only stuff I have had any luck with a 2mm pin is my big tanks and vehicles

It's been Wunsor and Newton brushes that crap out on me. Out of 6 brushes, maybe 2 of them are still usable after having been used a few times. I've got some Rosemary & Co brushes that I bought a while back and haven't used yet, so I'll be trying them next.

I'm only using the 2mm for magnets right now. I've been wanting to magnetize some unit bases for Kings of War, and I'm also thinking of using magnets in the arms of my Warmachine warjacks, so that if I ever play and they get a busted arm I can just pop the arm off as a reminder. Also, because a lot of the warjacks share everything but the arms I'll be able to modify my forces by keeping a box of spare arms around rather than keeping a bigger box of extra warjacks.

I've heard (and experienced) similar problems with W&N brushes splitting.  I think they were having some quality control issues for a while.  They can be pampered back into semi-use with brush cleaner/restorer and deep conditioning, but my Rosemary & Co brushes never need that and they're cheaper.

Have not acquired much yet for birthday but will be picking up a gaming chair to use at desk and something to roll into living room so i can use it when playing on XBOX. No clue yet what I want but have found a few here at local retail stores that I may just grab to get it right away.

Anyone have a gaming chair they like?  So far I have been interested in AKGaming and Cougar.  Staples has one called the Helix that is pretty nice and on my radar too.  Will decide tonight or early tomorrow so I can get it built ASAP.

The Secret Lab Titan seems to be well received by a lot of people.  iPhonedo also did a review on it in his typical hilarious style (and he did like it).  They're also one of the few that will ship to Canadians, from a Canadian warehouse, and also.... Charge in CAD.

Two Kallax shelves at once?  Braaaaaave one you are.  I'm also kind of envious of the storage you're about to have too!
