I've yet to get anything from them and know that I could easily spend hundreds of $ there. Nah... It's usually about $150, and then you slow down to just an occasional thing that you actually need, lol... If you've already got most of your basic equipment, Micro isn't nearly as hard on your wallet. Acquired: AD&D 2nd Ed. Players Option: Skills & Powers.... Won on EvilBay for only $10 plus a couple bucks shipping. Edited August 25, 2017 by Mad Jack

They are pretty expensive...
Mad Jack
Well, yeah, if you're going for the full hobby-sized workshop of course it's going to get spendy, lol...

Yep, that's what I'd like to do eventually. I have a garage that I want to make into a woodshop and wouldn't mind a couple of those smaller machines for the hobby aspect.
Thes Hunter
Bought the last bottle of folk art glass and tile medium at my local Joanne's yesterday. It was on clearance... but it did have the old style label.... I don't know what this means.

With respect to minis, do you use this like Reaper brush-on sealer, or does it serve another purpose?
Thes Hunter
I haven't tested it yet, but was listed as a product that helped the durability of reaper paints when used as part of the first coat on Bones.
Cyradis
More paints! Two brown triads, a gray triad, the ocean colors triad, Max Decker Private Eye (to be painted for the hat shop), the August bonus mini, and... they added a sample paint in! The sample is a coppery metallic paint.
Pezler the Polychromatic
I've been collecting things for the last few days, so i should post about it. Got things at the hobby store during my visit: Vallejo: -Ochre Brown, Beige Brown, Flat Brown, Chocolate Brown, Red Leather, Wood, Red, Blue, Bright Brass, Rust, Natural Steel, Dark Green, Pale Blue. Also picked up some fall foliage to change up the seasons that I've been basing lately. Also, visited my friend's store and picked up these: Citadel:: -Imrik Blue, Hexos Palesun Warpaints: -Necromancer's Cloak, Chaotic Red, Fire Lizard, Mythical Orange, Crusted Sore, Hardened Carapace. Also picked up Bones Mousling Ranger & Yeoman, Mousling Thief & Assassin, and Male Paladin. Now for some incredibly sad news. My friend's store in the Big City is closing at the end of the month. The place has been open for over 25 years and used to be the only place for people in the hobby to go to. My friend was a worker there and had bought it over about 4 or 5 years ago, but unfortunately had some setbacks. He's tried to raise money to keep things going, but things happened faster than he expected and unfortunately he has to close his doors. I've done what I can by getting him in touch with the new FLGS in my own town, who are still looking for product to sell since There's been issues with a distributor getting them what they need. I was their go-between today and managed to broker a deal and deliver product so that my friend could sell some of his stuff to them, and my FLGS can get product on the shelves to keep them going. Both sides are my friends and I'm glad I could do some good for both of them. The next week will probably have me ferrying product between them when business takes me back to the Big City. I hope for the best for my friend and his family, they're good people.

Before I had Brush-on Sealer, this is what I used. It's very similar stuff, though the G&T medium is a little thicker if I recall correctly. Zink
I like the army painter washes. I've had a 7 bottle set for years. The soft, strong and dark shades get a lot of use. The different colours not so much except maybe green.
