I picked up another one of these today:

(yes, I just reused the picture.....).

I opened the first one on the weekend to check out the options.  There are 4 weapon options and it comes with two torsos and heads and backpacks, so you can build a one hand weapon and a two hand weapon torso. So by picking up a second one I can build all 4 torso options. And torsos are pretty easy to magnetize, if it needs that.

I may have overdone this one...

The first 1/144 scale OV-10s that I've found...I only wanted 1...Conveniently I have a use for them. The A-10s on the other hand I really didn't need, but I'm not complaining. Only problem with trying to sell any I don't need is that they're blind boxes so I have to open them to work out which is which (although, I've just weighed all the boxes, and the A-10s are 61g and the OV-10s are 55g...so I can pick which is which, but not the colour schemes)

(I may also accidentally have a second box of these on the way...)

I went to a giant Walmart yesterday. Because I had to visit “the tower”. (Long Story***). While I was in there I visited the craft section. (I was looking for T-pins; no luck finding the right size.) But other things were found:

They had Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago terrain hidden away in the fish tank section! (But I was not fooled! )

That is Rictur (2430) for scale over there to the upper left.

***This thing:

Is The Tower. Assorted Wal-humans for scale.

The Long Story

Getting a small something by ordering it from Walmart can mean the following: 1) Order Online. Then a text comes (to your phone) that says your order has arrived. (You have a phone, Yes?) Next you go to the Walmart and (like a n00b you...) ask, "uh, where's The Tower?" They'll say, "just inside the door...  ...you can't miss it". 6) Sure enough, there's nothing taller, so you approach the thing. 7) You watch the continually playing video that shows how to interact with it (and this is on a display screen bigger than any that were ever on Picard's Enterprise!) Then you roll up to the thing baffled because you don't see the access area that was in the video. But... 9) Not to worry, it sees you (somehow) and it slides a glass door open. Revealing... 10) A small glass screen like the ones on cash registers (with a laser. Lasers!) you are supposed to fish out your cellphone (you didn't forget it?) pop open your email app (you phone does email, Yes?) open the confirmation email  the great machinemind sent you (You remember your password, Yes?)  11) Scroll to the barcode in the email, flash that at the tiny screen. 12) Wait for the thump. 13) A second black glass door opens, there is your purchased item, please take it and go....

13 Steps, Lasers, Machineminds, Passwords,  I lost count of how many screens, even George Jetson would be baffled :upside:

On my days when I don't want interaction with people, it sounds pretty good: order stuff, pick up stuff, talk to no One... move it outside the building so I don't have to go near others and I would consider stalking it until there was no one around to complete the transaction.

On the subject of TP:  how much can one person need?  I take a med who's instructions include 'wear dark pants' and I don't go through a roll in a week.  A 4 pack lasts over a month, how long are they expecting quarantine to last?

I suppose it could be worse, at least it's not French toast season any more.
