Rob Dean
So, it was a good day for packages. For hobbies, though, I got a box from my mother, with properly hemmed double-sided terrain base pieces for my portable game: So roads are flipped to be streams, forests to be rough ground, or town bases or ponds. The Mk I roads and forest bases can be seen in this (sideways) shot from last year’s Gencon.
Members SamuraiJack
Finally managed to grab a set of ProAcryl transparents and also grabbed a bottle of Bright Pale Green that a bunch of painters keep talking about
WhiteWulfe
Snagged an 18x24" cutting mat for the aasembly/sculpting/terrain desk, a 9x12" cutting mat for my initial first desk (because the 12x18" that's there atm takes up too much space, so I'll be moving it to where all my dropper bottles are), aaaaaand picked up my order thirteen bottles of paint from Maple Airbrush... There were three maple candies, but two of them disappeared almost the instant the box was opened, almost like it were magic....
haldir
Picked a couple of stl files off of Cults3D today, both from Futurama!! Bender with tommy gun Roberto with knife I got em for like 2 bucks total!! I can handle that! Both are multiple file/parts & assemble like a model kit. Gonna be a fun thing to print up so I may have to buy some metallic silver filament before I start. Which means repairing the Ender 3. I hope to get to while on vacation.
Corsair
Never was a fan of the show but a robot with a Tommy Gun is too much fun! Thanks for the tip! 4
warlordgarou
I just won an auction for a bunch of Mr Potato Heads. I have plans to turn them into giant stompy robots. Should be fun. And I have enough that, if I mess up a couple learning how to scratch build, it's not a big deal. 8
WhiteWulfe
Ooooh, two surprise boxes were at the post office for me today... ^Art of War Studios token sets, S2 camo silhouettes, command panel(s), and group one orders panels... With two back/top plates too. ^First package from GameNerds. Two minis for me, two minis for hubby. ...So much for keeping my backlog at 12 minis or less for my HaqqIslam - although in my defense, it's currently twelve in boxes, and three in various stages of assembly (Tuareg Hacker just needs to be attached to his base, that Bashi Bazouk w/Boarding Shotgun needs his backpack and base, and Saladin only needs the hand holding his scabbard to be attached)
Rob Dean
I’m afraid that I have been treating my boredom with a bit of shopping. Honestly, I hope that I’m not adding to the danger level of my postal person...Anyway, two packages arrived yesterday. One was from the Bay of Ease, an early model Grenadier dragon. You kids don’t know how good you have it. He’s destined to be part of my “game like it’s 1977” project. The metal looks awfully clean; wondering if it’s a recast, but I need it to paint, not to collect... I also got a book from the specialist book shop On Military Matters, supporting the wargames hobbyist since time immemorial: Copyright 1975; it’s mostly a set of historical situations translated into wargames scenarios. No rules are included, but a list of the current favorates and sources to obtain them is in the back, including Chainmail by Gygax and Perren. 13
warlordgarou
Yay! New stuff to read and paint! (Not that I am short of either, but still. . . .)
Glitterwolf
Well this is new to me. I became a Patreon for Artisan Guild. 3D files every month. I blackened the commercial links. My welcome set and the set for this month: Edited April 29, 2020 by Glitterwolf
Gadgetman!
The tentacled thing on the far right, wil it even fit in your printer? ;-) Luckily for my bank account, none of those minis interest me. 3

Their models are modular. One can switch hands and weapons and such. Next month ( which is next weekend) we will see the Oni Clan ( Japanese themed Oni/Ogres) and I will use my discount to buy the Serpent and Naga women and Amazones I like.

Donald Featherstone's Horse & Musket rules in his Wargames was the first set of dice rolling war game I played...we flipped/threw pennies before that. They are still wonderful rules to play a game with. Enjoy your games! Edited April 29, 2020 by malefactus

I figure that the Amazons and others that I like is worth the full price. A lot of artists are experiencing a severe drop in Patrerons and general sales these days, and when that is their main income, it sucks to be them. So I don't use any rebate coupons in artist stores these days. I may not earn as much as in the private sector, but I have a steady income that's NOT influenced by the current issues. So, yeah, I'll spread some of that around. 5

The tentacled thing is cut to accommodate smaller printers. Base, Body, 4x Tentacles. 4
